Gerber Baby Cereal 1st Foods, Rice, 16 Ounce (Pack of 6)

Gerber has always been a good brand. I wish they did t change the rice cereal but it still works for my purpose.

My son's pediatrician told us to get rice cereal and do 1 tsp to every 2 oz of a made bottle since he was drinking about 9/9.5oz every 3-4 hrs (8oz water + 4 scoops of formula) and did this throughout the night as well to help thicken the bottle a little bit but not too much to where it can't come out of the bottle (we did have to purchase the next size bottle nipples for it to come out) and so it would keep him fuller longer as he wasn't able to have solids yet since he wasn't 4 months and didn't have great head control, but with him being a bigger size baby height wise (23 inches at birth) he was growing and needing to eat more than what a typical baby his age did. Worked great and still does. Now that he is 4 months he is starting to eat the Gerber 1st Stage foods, but is only eat 1oz of each food 30 min before bottles, and he is still getting the same size bottles of 8oz water + 4 scoops of formula + 4 tsps of this rice cereal (makes about a 10 oz bottle) and he has been sleeping throughout the night ever since we started doing rice in his cereal before we started the foods, he started sleeping like 12hrs throughout the night!Overall and to simplify it, if your baby is eating a lot and not sleeping throughout the night and drinking full bottles, I recommend talking to your pediatrician about adding 1 tsp of rice to every 2 oz of a made bottle to help - it does take about a week ish to see a result of the rice working :)

It’s crazy how I use to buy one baby cereal from a supermarket for a price that was expensive and it was a smaller size. I’ll never buy baby cereal or baby food from the supermarket on its own when I can purchase the bigger size in a pack of 6 for an incredible price point! It last a long time, and my baby loves it.

Great price for how many you get. None were damaged so that’s a plus.

It’s value for my money last longer than the smaller bottles plus it saves me time not going in the store as a working mom

I have been using the cereal since my daughter was 5 months old. She prefers the oatmeal one better but I will mix them… I still use both.

I recieved a 6 pack of the LARGE 16oz baby rice cereal which as you can tell from the picture is DOUBLE the size of the standard 8oz size and I only paid about $3 more for a 6 pack of the larger 16 iz size so it is totally worth it and for only $3 more, a much better deal!!!Also I love that they are packed in 2 pages of 3 which makes storing the extra pack much easier and neater and more convenient.
