Sleek, Smart, and Surprisingly Helpful, My Daily Companion
I’ve been using the Apple Watch SE 2nd Gen for a few weeks now, and it’s quickly become an essential part of my daily routine. First impressions count, and the starlight aluminium case looks gorgeous, subtle, modern, and goes with everything from gym gear to office wear. The 40mm size is perfect for my wrist; it’s noticeable without feeling bulky or cumbersome. Performance-wise, it’s impressive. Notifications are seamless, fitness tracking is accurate, and the heart rate monitoring gives me real-time feedback that actually helps me adjust my workouts. I particularly love the sleep tracking; it’s surprisingly insightful and has nudged me to rethink some of my evening habits. Battery life is solid, I get a full day and some extra before needing a charge, which for an Apple Watch is very respectable. The integration with my iPhone is, as expected, flawless. Swiping through apps, responding to messages, controlling music, or even checking weather updates feels smooth and intuitive. Siri works better than I expected on this model, though I still treat it more like a convenience than a necessity. One tiny caveat is that it can feel a bit expensive for what it is compared to other smartwatches, and if you don’t already live in the Apple ecosystem, it’s less useful. But for me, the combination of style, functionality, and seamless connectivity makes it worth every penny. It’s not just a watch; it’s a little personal assistant on your wrist that keeps me on top of health, notifications, and even small lifestyle improvements.

Good value, compares well to the Apple Watch Series 9
I bought this Apple Watch SE for my wife, already owning a Series 9 myself. She chose the SE as it's significantly cheaper and she wasn't fussed about the extra features the Series 9 offers, which are mostly aesthetic. The main thing my wife wanted from the watch was for it to monitor her health and motivate her to exercise and workout more, which it absolutely has. Combined with an Apple Fitness+ subscription, the SE is fun and easy to use and provides mostly the same data and feedback as the Series 9. An Apple Fitness subscription is not compulsory and all functions of the watch can be used without it, however, it definitely enhances its usefulness. Data recorded by the watch is quite in-depth and syncs with the Health and Fitness apps on your iPhone, if you have one, providing information on daily, weekly, monthly and annual trends. It seems quite accurate for a smartwatch, which is not a dedicated fitness recorder like a Fitbit. At the gym, I have noticed the fitness equipment tends to report slightly higher calorie burn than the Apple watch - it's hard to tell which is correct, but I suspect it's the gym equipment. Visually, the SE looks surprisingly good compared to my Series 9, which has the same colour case and strap. The materials and screen are different but the SE looks good and its darker screen is still very useable. I would guess most women, like my wife, will prefer the smaller, 41mm size over the 45mm, which looks fairly large on the wrist. The Apple Watch is a great device, providing all the benefits of your smartphone with added fitness-tracking features that can genuinely encourage you to improve your health. I think the SE version is good value. In our case, we've both found the WiFi version is good enough given we usually have our iPhones with us when wearing the watch. The watch syncs with your phone via Bluetooth and shares all connectivity, meaning a cellular-enabled watch isn't necessary for most people. You can take calls, send messages, use popular apps, play music, set reminders and alarms, customise faces, and of course, tell the time!

Great Value Without Sacrificing Quality
I’ve been really impressed with the Apple Watch SE. It has most of the features I wanted—fitness tracking, heart rate monitoring, notifications, and seamless integration with my iPhone—without the high price tag of the Series 9 or Ultra. What I love most is that it doesn’t feel like a budget option. It’s fast, sleek, and super comfortable to wear all day. Sure, it doesn’t have some of the advanced health sensors or the always-on display, but for my everyday use, it does everything I need and then some. The lower price made it much more accessible, and I feel like I got incredible value without missing out on the Apple Watch experience. If you’re looking for a smart, reliable watch that won’t break the bank, the SE is a fantastic choice.

OK for everyday use.
This is a great smart watch. Lots of functionality and looks good. Only issue is with battery life was it seems to run down pretty quickly. I am very active and measuring activity using GPS exacerbates the problem. I then need to put the watch on charge a couple of times a day. This is annoying especially if the battery goes flat and recording stops. I’d say a great everyday smart watch but if you are seriously active I’d suggest a newer model with increased battery life or a dedicated sports watch.

Budget Apple watch
I found this Apple watch SE very good for my needs. I was thinking to buy Series 9 because got Temperature sensor and more powerful cip but price difference was about £140 more so does not justify for myself because I use this one just for time, sleep monitor and pedometer. I recommend this model for people doesn't want to spend a lot of money for a watch. Before I got Apple watch series 1 and now SE ...I can see improvement in performance and martials quality. It runs watchOS 10.4 Battery life one full day with watch face full colours and full brightness but be aware charger cable was updated to USB-C so your old Usb block will not be compatible. Maybe a usb to usbC adapter will work? I didn't try because I use a Wireless charging station for all my apple devices. Yes you can bath and shower without any problems. Please chean speaker after you use your watch in water. - press button under crown and scroll up until you see a water drop, select water drop from display and after hold crown button pressed for 3 sec. That's the proper way to eject water from speaker.

Other half loves it!!
Bought this as a Christmas present for my other half, she loves it! The small screen fits perfectly on her wrist and in per profession she needs a sturdy and reliable watch. Great for tracking health, fitness and sleep. Walkie talkie feature is great for communicating around the house instead of shouting. Answering calls on your watch make you look a little silly but it’s great for checking notification’s. Great way to ping your phone if you’ve lost it, comes with a decent torch, battery life is average but charges quite quick. Only con is that it doesn’t come with a plug as it’s USB-C so you either need to buy a plug for it or have something where you can plug it into already.

Excellent
having got an iPad and Iphone this was the next obvious thing though annoying that my Samsung smart watch not allowed . But with the exception that it keeps trying to ring the emergency services when I'm doing heavy work excellent. Even used to using as phone and the pay system worlds virtually all the time.

Entry level Apple Watch that doesn’t skimp on the core features
Bought this as a simple activity and sleep tracker that integrates into the stock health app in the iPhone and it works as advertised. The phone notifications and volume warnings are an added bonus for me. I am not a person that requires the AOD for the watch plus it also saves on battery. The watch lasts me a full 24 hours (until I need to recharge to start the next day). Only downside is the slower 2.5W charging compared to the series 8/9. But that is something I’m willing to compromise on
