This is an organic simple syrup made with Ashwagandha herb. Perfect for herbal mocktails/cocktails. Once opened, it must be refrigerated. The syrup is made by Bluestem Botanicals, which is an actual farm/herbal store in Pennsylvania. Their website is informative about their products and small business. I like the taste of this syrup. It's good with seltzer and citrus. My only criticism is this that syrup doesn't list the herbal content. When I see Ashwagandha on the bottle label, I assume the syrup contains an actual "dose" like a supplement. But there is no mention of the mg contained. The number one ingredient is sugar. To be fair, the company does not claim it is a supplement, but I think a lot of people will be confused thinking it is. It would be helpful if the company clearly listed the Ashwagandha content per serving. Bottom line: This is great if you're looking for an herbal syrup for fancy drinks. Look elsewhere if looking for an Ashwagandha supplement.

I used a tablespoon of this Ashwagandha Simple Syrup in today’s espresso. It gave it a sweet herbal taste, which I enjoyed. I plan to also use it in other drinks that call for an herbal syrup, as well as more that normally wouldn’t, but that I think the flavor would enhance. However, ashwagandha is used as a medicinal herb by many, so like a drink containing alcohol, I’d like to know how much ashwagandha is in each ounce or other unit of measure. This bottle has no such information, nor does their website.

A lot of the hop waters and pre made mocktails I've been buying from the store have ashwagandha in them. I already take it in supplement form, but it seems to have more of a calming effect in the beverages I've had. Maybe it's because I usually have them earlier in the night whereas I take the supplement before bed and don't notice the effects as much. With just some sparkling water and a bit of this ashwagandha simple syrup, you have a perfectly acceptable mocktail. Throw in a dash of bitters and an orange wedge and it's something I'd be happy ordering from a bar. This does require refrigeration after opening.

I have no idea what the concentration is so if there's actual medicinal benefits I have no idea how you'd be able to monitor it BUT I am guessing it is just the flavoring of Ashwagandha which makes a super interesting herbal element for a unique cocktail or culinary creation! Herby, earthy, kinda nice.

If you don't know what Ashwagandha is, you should look it up. Otherwise, you're here because you do know. In that case, why this syrup? This syrup is organic, flavorful and such an easy way to get Ashwagandha into your diet. I've been using it in cocktails which I know sounds crazy, but honestly, it added a little something to my whisky old fashion. Thanks!

This does have a sweet herbal earthy flavor. I made a nice mocktail with this, a little coconut water, topped with tonic, and a splash of lime juice. Not bad. I do like their chicory flavor syrup better.

Bluestem Botanicals are a fantastic company and make EXCELLENT products. Tried the chicory and this one and I am so impressed. I added this syrup to a mushroom coffee and it just made it extraordinary. Packed incredibly well and such a great amount for the price. Absolutely top drawer.

Used this in my lemonade to test the flavor and it added an earthy sweet flavor. Very interesting flavor that would elevate some basic drinks. I like that it can be used for dessert as well.
