HTC Vive Ultimate Tracker 3 Pack + Dongle— Full-Body Tracking for VR

PERSONALLY, love them, but they're not for everyone, and here's why in the most passive aggressive way possiblecon 1.- if you're some basement dweller who lives with their mommy n daddy in their mid or late 20s and you're on VR games way passed their bed time, these are the worst trackers for you because they require you to have a ceiling light with a decent brightness and warmth to it, turned on at all times for these to work n track reliably, something people who don't live on their own TRULY FEAR, the light!!!! oh no! (Don't worry, if you have a good vr head set, it'll block out all the light for those of us who live on our own and don't have to worry about disturbing people with a bright light late at night)con 2.- same rules as 3.0s with the lasers, except this time, it's light, the trackers cant be covered other wise, they lose tracking in mere seconds, think of the tracker's cameras as using your ceiling light like a base station, but this time, I can actually wiggle my feet under my desk if the light is bright enough unlike with my 3.0s, AND same rules with your headset lenses apply to these trackers, KEEP THE CAMERA LENSE CLEAN FOR GOOD TRACKING you little trash gremlin! don't be nasty, THEY HAVE TO BE KEPT AT 60HZ 24/7, other wise, midcore tracking!con 3.- does a terrible job at remembering the scan of your room even when it says room scan complete in the vive hub app, so it 100% requires a fresh scan every time you want to get good tracking, don't worry your pretty little self, it only takes 2-3 minutes to set up each time unless you're as slow as a sloth, you could use the exercise ! I'm sure 2-3 minutes a day is nothing compare to the doom scrolling you do everyday or spend idle on vr!con 4.- battery life is eh (5-6 hours) and they don't give you type c outlets, only 3 type c cords both ways to charge the trackers, better hope your mother board has 3 type c outlets or that you have 3 type c chargers laying around!con 5.- I HIGHLY recommend getting battery pucks to eliminate this issue of short battery life and tracker traps with a flat surface rather than your typical 3.0 ones to eliminate the wiggly effect which can be annoying for tracking and comfortcon 6.- you can only have 5 vive ultimate trackers on at once, so you need to chose wisely what you want to have being tracked, personally, I recommend your two ankles or feet, your two knees, and your hip.last con.- your very first installation will be annoying, as like with almost every FBT tracker, that's something these tracker companies can't get right, is making your very first set up easy, it'll take some getting use to, but once you've mastered it after a week or two, it'll take mere minutesTHE PROS, and I'll make these short to be modestpro 1.- VERY DURABLE, I've accidently dropped them on trips, kicked the bottom of my desk with them, hit my foot against a wall! ouchie! yet they still work just fine! WARNING, if you hit them very hard whilst they're tracking, you might need to do another room scan and recalibrate them! I've literally been mailed broken base stations and have had base station faults to the point of annoyance and rage! slimes going bad with internet issues! atleast that's not an issue with these, it's purely just lighting.pro 2.- COMFORTABLE, with the right straps, they don't wiggle, AND you only need to put 3-5 straps on, and snap the 3-5 trackers onto each one which takes mere seconds, they're easy n comfortable, they don't have the blood draining discomfort of slimes and they wont puncture you by accident like 3.0s! long are the days of needing to unscrew every single tracker just to charge them or recal them/fix their tracking, just snap and click!pro 3.- PORTABLE, you legit only need to take your straps, trackers, and SINGLE dongle with you, set up to your laptop, congrats, full body tracking where ever you go, on the go! ezpz, no hassle of resetting up your base stations, base station stands, dongle station, you only need ONE dongle for all 5 trackers, just make sure your place has decent WARM lighting and doesn't look like a basic bland poster for a back rooms film!pro 4.- GREAT TRACKING if done right and you have the proper ceiling lighting/brightness n warmth, making sure nothing interferes with it (like having your windows are properly closed so no sun light messes with the ceiling light!!) and a room with decent décor, no mirrors/reflective stuff; you'll have great tracking, genuinely almost on par with having 4 base stations!pro 5.- BANG FOR BUCK, cheap for the type of tracking it offers (about 600-700$ and 50$ straps) , WHEN CONSIDERING the cost of light house tracking, just 4 base stations by them self are almost 1000$ when there isn't a sale going on, the trackers are about 390$ for 3, base station STANDS are about 100+$ for 4, dong station, another 30$~, straps, 50$~ OH, and if you don't have a vive head set, you need A 4TH TRACKER DIY'd attached at the end of your vr head set, which is great if you're some socially weird basement dweller who constantly has their head n neck leaned forward, for the rest of us, who use light vr head sets, that's just an annoying pain! thank god, vive ultimates eliminate that cost factor to both your wallet and your neck tumor! for those of who you used a program to get tracking with a camera vr head instead of attaching a 3.0 tracker to your head set.. just get slimes at that point, your tracking looks goofy.final pro.- they're more versatile, can be used on objects, for for your school projects, attached to a sword for some creative animations! more universal with your programs AND your head set!p.s.- did I mention they'll prevent you from getting a neck tumor with how many head sets they support, lol

Purchased these as an upgrade from home built Slime Trackers. Using with a Quest 3 with Virtual Desktop. Solid tracking, have not had any issues with glitching or flinging your character off into space. No drift or weirdness, they seem very good. These are a great solution for anyone who uses a SteamVR compatible headset, and wants full body tracking without having to purchase and setup base stations. Note the trackers do not include any straps, so you will need to purchase those separately. Your computer should also have a USB C type port for full compatibility for the dongle.A few things to remember when using and setting up...1) These are camera based trackers so if your cameras get blocked by furniture, other people in the room, pets, or cables, then they may lose their way, so it's best to use these when you are the only person in the room, and in an area where things do not get moved around too much.2) Lighting is important, so if you are used to sitting in the dark while in VR, this won't work for you, bright lighting is required for the cameras to track properly, and is better suited for smaller rooms. If the area is too large there will be no point of reference for the cameras to find. Obviously, try to avoid mirrors, windows or shiny surfaces in the room.3) Update the firmware before use to the latest version. There have been vast improvements recently, that will make your experience better.4) Keep in mind these save an image of your play space in your computer to use as a reference. If you move to different rooms or places a lot, than this may not be for you as you will need to setup the trackers all over again every time you use them in a different space.Overall these seem to be a good product, battery life in real world testing is about 5 hours per charge. System will support up to 5 trackers, however 3 is probably sufficient for most people.Note that if you are buying single trackers, they do not include the USB dongle, and they will not work without one.

funciona excelente y es facil de usar y configurar aunque si alguien esta considerando opciones que sepa que estos trackers requieren una excelente iluminacion.
