Thought this was going to be a good charger for the car but it did not pan out. Major weak / break point. Ball mount portion broke off of the charger portion and is now worthless. Less that 6mo in use. Save your money and look elsewhere. UPDATE: Company customer service is phenomenal. They got back to me within hours of requesting support and had me a replacement within 2 business days! No questions asked and no challenge to the claim. They stand behind their product so I am doing the right thing and updating my review. Solely based on their customer service I would buy from them again.

I bought the ESR for Qi2 15W MagSafe Car Mount Charger. I really like how it holds my iPhone 16 pro in place so well. It doesn't fall off when you hit a bump or move around. It charges my phone well also.(does what it advertised to do). I really like the how the mount conforms to an uneven service. Its like four independent little slots so it can mount well on a slightly raised services. Just a word of caution, make sure you know where you want to mount the ESR for Qi2 15W MagSafe Car Mount Charger, BEFORE you stick it on. Or you might need to remove it and damage the mounting adhesive. Yes, I'm speaking from experience. I messed up the mounting adhesive. :( So after damaging the mounting adhesive, I reached out to customer service for suggestions. They replied with a link to Amazon because they did not sell the a replacement mounting adhesive. Also, there is a video showing how to mount the MagSafe Car Charger. So, I am giving this a 5 star rating. In my opinion you can't go wrong with the ESR for Qi2 15W MagSafe Car Mount Charger!

By and large, the fit and finish of the mount is far better than a lot of other solutions for mounting a phone in a car. It's squeak and rattle-free, magsafe does a great job of holding the phone in place, and it charges without any fuss. However, on mine, the adhesive pad has failed after just under 5 months of use. The reason I bought this mount in particular was I'd found a spot where it would have the phone hang away from the centre air vents and not block them, but just high enough that the phone would catch a little airflow to keep it cool while charging. The resulting position placed the phone more or less dead level with the stock head unit, which seemed like a great place for a carplay-on-a-budget arrangement. However, a couple of weeks ago, the adhesive pad started to peel away from the mount, and it finally failed completely this afternoon. The *really* annoying part is that it came unstuck on the side that ESR handled - the pad is still stuck to the dash, and the mount has come away leaving the pad in place. I don't know if this is a temperature-related thing. Round these parts (Honolulu) car interiors obviously get warm. However, I would have thought that an accessory intended for mounting inside a car would take that into account. I'll be chasing this up with ESR, as it's definitely not on.

This is a real great product and the quality is great. Just so happened does not fit for my car.

It's great on every front except for the fact that it overheats. The phone already gets hot after 10 min, and becomes unsable after about an hour, iPhone sends message that phone can't be used until it cools down. So it's ok for very short rides, but not for long hauls.

Almost perfect. Not the only negatives are it has a bit of wiggling around and if phone is heavy it will swing around on turning etc and fall over. The swivel arm isn’t strong or tight and no adjustment screw to tighten to fix it. Otherwise it is a very robust charger that I measured a full 18W getting to the phone and 20w going into the charger.

Less than 2 weeks, it fell off. The adhesive just doesn't last. It can't stand the heat. Update: I bumped the review up 1 star. ESR has excellent customer service. They reached out quickly after the feedback. Offered refund and replacement straight away.

I FINALLY found the perfect car mount for my mobile phone. I’m not even sure how many mounts I’ve tried, all of which ended up being a big waste of money. I’m delighted with this product, it absolutely does the job. It easily mounts to the windshield, doesn’t obstruct my vision and holds the phone very securely, all essential elements, plus it’s reasonably priced. I have a safe driving app on my phone, through my insurance company, which evaluates 2 things, harsh braking and cell phone usage. The app enables me to earn a 30% discount on my insurance rate, so it’s especially important to have the phone secured since I use a GPS app and at times need to look at the map.
