This is a beautiful shade, true to the color on the box. The color lasts a long time and lasts through many washes. I’m in my fifties and use it to cover my front gray patches, although most of my hair isn't graying yet. It covers well and looks very natural. Almost seems to have highlights, which is why I love it. The nourishing oil smells delightful and keeps my hair moisturized throughout the application process. It is very reasonably priced. Overall, I love it and will continue using this brand.

Easy to use, left my hair silky, good coverage. Fades out and blends so I don't have the Gray outgrowth with a definition line of tinted hair. Recommend.

This works well, nice that it doesn't burn or irritate skin and scalp as other dyes do (I think probably because other dyes have peroxide or something in them...) Another thing is it doesn't come out a weird color if you leave it on for a while for deeper coverage...The one thing is, it seems like it fades rather than staying colored with just the roots growing out, the rest of the hair color seems to fade so you'll be re doing the dye more often rather than I at the roots every month or whatever, the original color seems to show after a couple weeks, almost like the dye is something that doesn't stay for very long, like it washes out...Which seems that while it is labeled as permanent , it seems like it washes out... color wise it is a good color, where a lot of hair dyes out there , the colors just don't look natural, so you can tell someone used hair dye because the color just looks artificial...With this, aside from the fact the color practically washes out, and fairly quickly, it does have a natural looking color to it, so as long as you re-apply it regularly, nobody can tell it's a dye job...where many dyes look fake, an orangish hue or with black eyes they often have a purple or blueish tint so people know it's hair dye....It would be nice if the color stayed permanently, until you need to dye the roots rather than the roots plus everything else to keep the color even...But it works fine otherwise, it seems it's mis-labeled as permanent, from my experience, but then again, it is a fairly decent price compared to other dyes, so as long as you re-apply it....It does the job.

The product is great, but the squeeze bottle/applicator is not. The plastic on it is so thick and hard that even someone like me with large hands still has a hard time squeezing it!

Review from my wife - I have been using L’Oréal preference for several years. I buy the light brown. But my scalp has become sensitive to it. So I decided to try this brand. It covers gray very well. The 2 cons for me were how dark the color was. It’s at least 2 shades darker now which is disappointing. My hair is light brown and now my roots are medium brown because this product is so much darker than L’Oréal. The other con is how thick this is. I had a hard time squeezing it out of the bottle into my hair. I gave it 3 stars for good coverage, it smells nice and leaves my hair shiny. I might try it again, but would have to go down to the dark blonde to achieve light brown I seek.
