Reliable and Easy-to-Use Home Blood Pressure Monitor
I purchased the OMRON Bronze Blood Pressure Monitor for home use, and overall I’ve been very satisfied with it so far.The setup was straightforward right out of the box, and the instructions were easy to follow. The cuff is comfortable and fits securely, and I like that it feels sturdy without being overly complicated to operate. With just one touch, the readings are quick and consistent, which makes it easy to track blood pressure regularly at home. One feature I really appreciate is how simple it is to use without needing to mess around with multiple settings. The ease of use helps us take readings more frequently and consistently, making it much easier to stay on top of our blood pressure monitoring at home. It stores readings automatically, which is helpful for keeping track over time without having to write everything down manually. The display is also clear and easy to read.I also already own an OMRON smart scale, which is part of why I chose to purchase this blood pressure monitor. I wanted to keep my health tracking within the same ecosystem for consistency and convenience. I also bought this as a replacement for my old blood pressure monitor, which is no longer accurate. The build quality feels solid, and it gives me confidence that it will hold up with regular use. It’s compact enough to store easily when not in use, which is a plus if you don’t want medical equipment cluttering up your space.Pros:Easy one-touch operationComfortable cuff and solid build qualityClear, easy-to-read displayConvenient memory storage for readingsQuick and consistent measurementsCons:Cuff size may not be ideal for all arm sizes without adjustment or checking fit beforehandOverall, this is a reliable and user-friendly home blood pressure monitor that makes it easy to stay on top of daily readings without hassle. I’m glad I chose this model for home monitoring.

Works very well and easy to use
This blood pressure monitor works very well and is easy to use at home. The cuff is comfortable, the readings are quick, and the display is clear. The app also syncs easily, so I can see my measurement history directly on my phone, which is very convenient. I also brought it to my doctor’s office, and he compared its readings with his own device. He said it provided accurate measurements, which gave me extra confidence in using it at home. Very happy with the purchase.

Works appears to be accurate
Quality on this appears to be good. Easy to set up with the Bluetooth. Navigation through the app is easy and no frills. First reading was accurate but second one was off due to the way I had it positioned on my arm. Just keep in mind it's picky on how you position it to get a good reading. Instructions contain a bunch of gibberish. Just put the batteries in, scan the QR code and spend a few minutes setting up the app, press and hold the Bluetooth button for three seconds and pair to your phone and check away. OH, It comes with a product registry card DO NOT USE THAT!!! It sent me to some SPAM website!!!!

Definitely a good price for a good quality blood pressure cuff.
I bought this to replace my old series 5, it’s the basic model I think it only saves about five blood pressure readings but that’s all I need. It’s simple, easy to use and accurate.

It's Omron for the win once again
This Bronze model model is quieter than the last two similar Omron models I've owned. I like the secure fitting for the hose attaching the cuff to the monitor and that the cuff is adjustable, not self-tightening. It also checked out with our doctor's office monitor. Haven't tried the bluetooth app for tracking but I really have gotten used to keeping a notebook log of vitals that I can screen shoot on my cellphone when needed. The monitor also stores some 14 previous readings. It's a good product, appears well built with a solid reputation. I highly recommend.

If you want a bare-bones blood pressure monitor (forget the app)....
For decades, I've regarded Omron as a top name for blood pressure monitors. What I've come to wish for is the ability to download readings. After 10-15 years with the Omron BP7350, I decided to try the BP5150. It looked like a good alternative but did not live up to expectations because it lacked certain features I rely on.I can't speak to the BP5150's accuracy as I had it only one day, but it agreed fairly closely with my older Omron BP7350.First, the BP5150 can store only 14 readings and it does not time stamp the readings. The BP5150 simply starts overwriting readings when it runs out of memory. Thus, you need to keep a log of readings, either on paper or electronically, if you plan to review them and need to know the when and where. Reviewing readings on the BP5150 will soon prove to be confusing concerning where the oldest reading appears. The main reason for trying the BP5150 was the ability to download readings via Bluetooth. As expected, this requires using a smart phone and the Omron Connect app. Via the app, I hoped the time stamp would be applied, and I hoped I could download readings to my PC. I never got that far.In terms of privacy, the app is highly invasive and requires setting up an account and entering a lot of personal information that will be accessed by parties unknown. Further, the app initially favors that you upload your reading to "the cloud," (actually someone else's computer) that probably will be used for marketing purposes. Way too much information surrender if you simply want track your readings on your smart phone.During my initial test, I had accumulated about a dozen readings, which the app could not download from the BP5150. I was free to manually enter older readings into the app, however. It finally did record a reading in progress (again, without time stamp). The other irritating feature of the app is that I opted out of getting notifications, but every time I opened it, the app nagged me about allowing notifications, The app is also strewn with hooks for all sorts of medical devices (weight, food, and other personal matters) that overwhelm working with blood pressure. Overall, I consider the app needlessly bloated and clearly a gimmick to gather data.In terms of durability, the BP5150 manual indicates it and the cuff are good for 10,000 readings or 5 years, with the batteries lasting 500 readings. If you take multiple readings at each sitting, this is about 6 months of average use between battery changes.Overall, the BP5150 is OK as a plain blood pressure monitor. If you like to supply your doctor with a record of readings, forget the app, and just use a paper form or spreadsheet to record them. It's less work in the long run, and more secure.Final note: There appears to be a BP5150 and a BP5150 "Bronze." An online search says they are the same, with one note indicating the "Bronze" is an Amazon exclusive. The Omron website shows Amazon is the only seller of this particular unit. I was able to download two different manual PDFs. The labeling of the left button is different in the two manuals, and instructions in each for clearing the memory are different. Clearing memory according to the instructions that came with the unit are correct (a "two-pass" procedure).

Love the App Integration
I’ve found this blood pressure monitor very easy to use, and the readings are quick to take. One of my favorite features is the companion app, which makes it easy to track and monitor blood pressure over time. Connecting the device to the app was simple and straightforward. The only thing I’m still trying to figure out is how to manage readings if multiple people use the same monitor. I’m not sure how to remove or separate another person’s readings from my account. Aside from that, it’s been a great device and I’m very happy with this purchase.

Straight forward, works well and doesn't require the app to work.
Straight forward monitor (my 3rd monitor, and 1st Omron), pump works well, big display, app is a bit clunky, but works. I have been using for a few weeks, and more than usual to make sure the readings are reasonable and consistent. Very happy so far. [The last monitor I had, you needed an app to use it. The company went under and you could no longer sign into the app and rendered the monitor useless, so I went to this style that works without the app.]. It's not that big, and comes with a case. I recommend.

Good Device
Seems to work fine, as expected. Readings are lower than the values that I get at my doctor’s office.
