The serrated wheel is very sharp. It did a good job, not perfect, on raw pork belly. The width guard locks down slice width. I cut over 8 pounds of brisket and pork belly and it never moved. Clean up was easy. The geared drive system is very robust. I was worried that the blade shaft was going to power the unit, but the geared system looks like it is built to last.

I got this so I could buy turkey and hams and slice them myself to save a bunch off the pre-sliced lunch meats price, but of course once I got it home I started coming up with more uses for it (breads, cheeses) - and once I have the thing set up I like to use it not just to slice the ham thin for sandwiches but also thicker so I can cube it up for things like salads and mac-and-cheese, substantially faster than I can do the same thing with a knife. I've even used it to slice a pile of potatoes or onions on occasion. The suction cup feet do a great job of keeping it in place, I like to put it on a full-size baking sheet and then everything I'm slicing is easily contained, any juices stay on the baking sheet for easy cleanup, etc. And of course if you're trying to slice brisket or something of that nature, you can't beat one of these for adjustable thickness and reliability/repeatability. I simply can not match it using a carving knife. Cleaning it is a bit of a pain because of all the little places that food matter can accumulate, but that's the only downside and the benefits are well worth it. Motor is nice and powerful, I've never had to worry that I was going to overpower it or burn it out by slicing a lot of stuff. I do feed the meat into it slower than the industrial deli slicers you see at the grocery store, but this is tiny in comparison so of course it's less powerful - if you keep that in mind you'll do just fine.

So far so good, I’ve only used it once but it worked well and wasn’t hard to get the hang of using it. For the price, I’m pretty happy with this.

Easy to use, good machine

All in all, good for the price and what I need it to do. When I need to replace this, I will definitely try something else.This does the job, but has a few issues.1. The instructions are crap: not clear, pictures don't match up, etc.2. It's VERY small. You have to use small cuts of meat.3. Cleaning is a nightmare. You have to use a screwdriver to take it apart to clean. A piece immediately flew off when I took it apart, and I can't figure out where it goes back.4. There is nothing to help push meat as it goes through the blade, meaning you have to stop, turn off the unit, flip up the push bar and remove meat. A lot.

Good size for my small kitchen

Very disappointed in this slicer. Doesnt slicer bread easily. Tears it up. I needed for my bread slicing. Wanted to return it because its not worth what it cost, since it rips my breads apart I dont have much use for it. Tried to return it but was advised of a return charge of over $17. The motor smells like it is struggling to sluce bread and smells like its over heating. Not happy with this unit at all. I need a slicer That is dependable and Slices professionally for my small home.

Bought it to slice bread and it works a charm. Just a slight push and it slices through dense breads easily. Have not tried it on hard breads yet but I very happy with the performance so far. Also it is easy to clean.

It's a great machine cuts the meat thin enough for my needs. I have used it for homemade bread and meats. The only thing I would change if I could would to be able to lower it a bit.

I found this unit super disappointing. I’m a professionally trained chef and I couldn’t even get this thing to slice bread evenly, it butchered my smoked Gouda, and then couldn’t cut through my prosciutto. The blade doesn’t spin nearly fast enough for anything dense. It’s a cute little machine but doesn’t stand a chance against anything I need it for.
