Great Hardware, but sorry OS
UPDATE: Blue Iris runs fine on this box. I have 12 cameras and the CPU% never exceeds 10% even with AI turned on. One bad thing that ruins everything is that there is no way to get it to turn back on after a power loss. I looked in BIOS, but there is nothing there. I have a UPS, but it only goes about an hour and today we had a power outage lasting 62 minutes. So I had to drive all the way back just to push the power button. BeeLink should be ashamed of themselves for that one. I have also installed GPT4ALL which is an offline chatGPT program. It works, but it is a bit slow. For GPT, the 16GB RAM is a bit small and 43GB would be better. ========== The box came today and I haven't fully tested it. What I have seen of it says that it is a fast box. No problem playing youtube videos at 1080P in full screen. The biggest flaw is that it comes with Windows 11. Upon starting the box for the first time, it stops during the setup and says to enter your Microsoft Account. I don't have one and if I did, I wouldn't give them the password. It no longer has a SKIP button so you can't easily bypass it. Fortunately I found out that you can pull the power cord, then network cord and then plug it back in. This time, it will squeal for you to give it your wifi password, but I refused. It finally let me in without signing my privacy over to Microsoft. Once there, windows update worked fine. I got the box to see if it would be fast enough to run Blue Iris software. I have not yet tested that. I will write back if that does not work. This will be a Blue Iris box and I wont have to mess with the OS on a regular basis. I would not want to use Win 11 for a desktop OS. The manufacturer allows people to upgrade to Win 10. If I had to use it as a desktop, I would do that or else install MX Linux.

A great computer if you have little space for your computer.
I've been using this small size computer for a couple of years and it works great. Your performance will depend on your processor and amount of memory. It has a speaker connection but no speaker. I use a wireless headset using bluetooth--works great. Obviously it is too small for a disc drive. Flash drives work well. I would buy another one if I needed to. Plug it into an outlet for power--not battery powered.

Works great, quiet, expandable
I was looking for a mini-PC that I could expand and was powerful enough to process large images captured through my telescope. This unit fit the bill: I added a 2.5TB SSD drive and and swapped the 2x8GB dimms with 2x32GB dimms for a total of 64GB RAM. The upgrade was easy and the unit has worked flawlessly. I would recommend this product.

Poor customer service and short PC life - UPDATED with fix
10/6/2025 - I am updating my review, not because Beelink support got any better, but because after a lot of effort, I found a fix to the issue. Most of the problems seem to be related to overheating. I now have 2 of the SEi12 PC's and both exhibited similar problems so I added this USB powered 120x120 "router" cooling fan with feet: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CW9H1381?ref_=ppx_hzsearch_conn_dt_b_fed_asin_title_1&th=1. First, remove the bottom plate of the PC, then remove the entire panel with the small internal fan. This does mean you cannot add an SSD anymore, but that would just increase the heat issue anyway. The NVME, mobo and RAM will now be exposed to the airflow from the fan directly. Just sit the PC on top of fan, making sure the fan is blowing UP into the PC housing. They are almost the same size so this works great for me. It fixed both of my SEi12's and the fans are very quiet. Hope this helps anyone else who is having this same problem. I ordered a Beelink SEi12 through Amazon on December 29, 2022. Over a month ago the PC would no longer boot up. At first thinking the NVMe was defective, I bought a new one and installed it, however this was not the issue. I contacted Beelink support and they suggested it could either be the power supply or the motherboard. I ordered a new PS from them for $30 which took almost a month to arrive. This was not the issue either. Since the PC was out of warranty and I really can't afford to replace it right now I asked Beelink to sell me a similar unit at a discount but the best they would offer was a $10 discount which is more of an insult than a good business decision. I didn't expect this to last forever, but I do have other PC's that are over 10 years old and still working. The fact that this unit lasted only a couple of years is a big concern when money is tight. And when the company has so little regard for it's customers satisfaction made me feel that this review was necessary. BE WARY OF BEELINK before you buy one of their PC's.

Worked great for 1 year only
Worked great as a Plex server for a year and died. Contacted support and they said to ship to China for repair which would cost $180 to ship. I had paid around $500 for this to only last a year so I didnโt want to pour money down to ship it to china. I instead bought another mini pc for less than $150 this time to replace this which is working great. Yes, support tried to assist but shipping to China is not an option. And they only respond once a day. One support rep said it was under warranty and another said it wasnโt. So prepare to explain the issue multiple times and ask the same questions multiple times. Going forward I would not buy mini PCs that cost more than $200. And would not buy Beelink again.

This little thing flies!
My use case is that I use this PC daily for budgeting and for remoting into my PC at work. Pros: - It is very fast to boot - great multitasking capability - great support. They respond very quickly. - the bracket is easy to use and a nice bonus. - it's very quiet - great small form factor Cons: - the AUX doesn't support microphones. However, it works via the USB type C port to AUX adapter. Note: don't buy this for heavy PC gaming. The integrated GPU isn't meant for that. However this PC would be great for streaming games via Gamepass.

awesome value for what you get
I love this new mini PC. I purchased my last PC in 2016, so I decided it was finally time to upgrade. The old one was still functional, and I only used it for web browsing and email, but the time from power on to where I could actually login and use it was over 2 minutes. I didn't want to spend a lot, and I was a little skeptical of buying a brand I was unfamiliar with, but the specs on the mini PC sounded too good - 12th gen I5, 16GB of memory, 512GB SSD, wifi 6, 2 4K HDMI, Win11 Pro, gigabit ethernet, 4 USB plus 1 USB type C. So given the cheap price, and overall good reviews, I decided to give it a shot - I'm so glad I did. Booted right up out of the box, setup a few configuration settings and I was in. Power on to login is about 10 seconds. I've had it for about 2 weeks now and everything is still good. Would definitely but again.

Tiny computer that perfectly meets my needs
This PC is very small, but does everything that I wanted it to do. Shipping was fast and the packaging was good. Setup was quick and you are able to easily upgrade the RAM. It is not a gaming computer, but will play older games like Total War and The Witcher 2. I am very satisfied with this computer, and highly recommend buying it.

Great entertainment computer and for web browsing.
It's SO tiny! Also very quiet. Hooked it up to a 4K tv and have had no problems watching video via Plex. The only streaming issues come from internet speed, not the computer. 4K video files saved to the computer hard drive play smoothly. Also good for web browsing, youtube, etc. No video problems. I wouldn't expect to run serious software on it, but it's a lot better than using 'smart TV' features. Wireless keyboard and mouse make it easy to operate from the couch.

The Video is slow, very choppy at times.
The computer is impressive, I like that it has 4 USB 3.0 and USB-c with the 2 HDMI outputs. I used it to run a photo booth, removed a lot of apps and cleaned up windows...it is ONLY to run this photo booth, no word (office) disabled bluetooth. However the video card is NOT smooth so for the money that this computer costs I would give it a 6 or 7 out of 10. I can't see how this would work for gaming with a slow video card.

Fire Hazard - SEO 12 Random Shutdowns
Update: Opened unit, cleaned memory contacts, reset CMOS, wiped hd, installed bios file from beelink. Now the unit randomly shuts down and takes several attempts (10-15 on avg) to get unit to start up. Not that I could see anything since my monitors don't get a signal during the failed start ups. The power button rarely works, neither ON or Off. I'm concerned this could be a fire Hazzard so it stays unplugged. Save your $ Orig. -The unit Doesn't shutdown by power button. -Plug it in and it's on, it should be off until power button is pressed -multiple monitors tested and message says 'no signal'. no clue if windows starts -no fix on beelink website. Beelink emailed a file that doesn't fix any of the multiple issues These products must be avoided as you'll have to buy a replacement (NOT a Beelink)
