My grandkids love this! I also had family from out of town visiting over the weekend and one of the boys slept in it. He loved it so much that now they are getting one!

Not for adults unless you like to almost sit on the floor. Don't plan on sleeping unless you like to sleep reclining or half sitting up. It does not fold flat.

I was impulsive and ignored the bad reviews of this item. It's not comfortable to sit on for more than a minute, so sleeping on it would be impossible. Unless you're very young, or a four legged pet, you can't get up from this thing. Most important, once it's out of the box it will triple in size and you won't be able to put it back in to send it back. I spent an hour online with several Amazon customer service people telling them that I'd spent an hour the night before saying that UPS will not accept it "in any packaging" as I had been told. I learned that the hard way when UPS didnt want to take a portable A/C that couldnt fit back in its sealed box, last summer. The only box this "couch" would fit in is a washing machine box due to its width and I doubt even Staples has a box that size. While Amazon refunded my money and said I didn't have to return it, it's not worth keeping and wasn't worth the time getting wrong information, or "lies" as UPS described them when they came to pick this up, but wouldn't. So, make sure you plan to keep this, or better yet, just don't get it.

It's not a tall chair when it's folded up. It's definitely more for a kid's room, teen's room, or good dormitory furniture. But it works great for me. I didn't want a huge piece of furniture for this room and I wanted a chair I could lounge in and read. I also wanted it for the occasional guest to sleep on (or myself, when I can't sleep and need to relocate away from my spouse so they aren't bothered by me staying up reading) It is firm when you lay on it. But it's better than a pallet on the floor and less hassle than a hide-a-bed couch.... and it doesn't deflate like an air mattress. It's also priced really well for what you get. Once it was opened up, it fluffed up nicely. The cover wasn't wrinkled. I did put a cover on the throw pillow to match more of my library room style. I've slept on it once (slept great!) And I've unfolded it to a lounger position several times to spread out and read but still have my head more upright, so I don't get sleepy.

I bought two of these at the same time. One for my house and one for my grandson’s house. My grandson was outgrowing his other smaller couch which he used a lot for watching tv, eating a snack, and taking a nap. These came inside a small box with the air sucked out. I was worried the foam would not be firm enough, but it is. I took it out of the box and laid it out flat for 24 hours for it to fluff back out. Which it did beautifully. The color is rich. The seams are well sewn. The fabric is durable feeling. And the pillow is wonderful. He loves to sleep on it and his mom says she sleeps on it when she has to stay in the room when he is sick or had a bad dream.
