Shade material plus gaskets effective in blocking out light. I'm hoping shade is durable over time.

These blackout shades work GREAT! Very easy to install, they fit perfectly according to the measurements I submitted. They feel very high quality and durable. I ordered white and they look great in our room with shear curtains. I plan to add a small bead of caulk along the edges to remove the 1% of light that is visible through the window crease.Highly recommend! I will be purchasing more for other rooms in my home.

The blinds fit perfectly, and I am pleasantly surprised how well they block out light!! My son is pretty sensitive to light coming through his blinds and curtains during naptime, and these truly block out all light, even in broad daylight! They were very easy to put together and install.I'm also very impressed with the seller. My blinds were stuck at customs for a while (not sellers fault), and every time I reached out, they were extremely responsive and helpful. So I give a 10/10 for product and seller. Thanks!

These are an excellent overall deal. Measure exactly as the instructions tell you (minus 1/8 inch). You need that for the included foam seal, which wasn’t mentioned in the description. If you measure exactly as stated, the blinds will stay in via friction, no drilling/screwing needed. My windows are older, so I had to add extra foam seal to seal up the unevenness. But the foam sealed everything up well. And they stay put without any hardware. There’s no light from around the exterior. Only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is there’s some light that sneaks through between the blind and the frame channel. This can be mitigated via darkening/blackout pull shades over the top for full complete darkness. But, for claimed blackout shades, the extra shades shouldn’t be needed. Hence the one star deduction. This being said, I’d still buy more. Still work very well and are a good value.

Wow...I love this shade! When they say a blackout shade, they mean it! There is absolutely no light coming through! It was exactly what I needed for my TV room. It's made really well and was super easy to install. I put it in a window where I get a ton of sunlight all day long, and heat. I really feel like this will reduce the heat during the day. I was hesitant at first to buy this, but now I'm thinking I might do a few more windows. I absolutely love this blind. Do not hesitate, I would just buy it!

First of all, their customer service is amazing! The measurements of my first order were off and they were nice enough to re-do the shades for me with just an extra shipping cost. I really like these because they are super easy to install, lightweight, and they look nice and sleek. The shade itself is definitely a fragile material but there should be no problem with that if you’re careful with it. They definitely keep the sunlight out when they are closed. My son loves these shades on his windows. He didn’t have curtains for a long time and the sunlight would always wake him up early in the morning.
