Citizen Men's Eco-Drive Weekender Sport Casual

This is a beautiful watch. I was never really a fan of Citizen before, but this one has completely changed my mind. I may need to rethink the brand altogether. I have a collection of about ten higher‑end watches and a handful of cheaper ones, and this has quickly become my favorite. Of course, watch style is personal — for example, a friend of mine has a Rolex that just doesn’t appeal to me — but this Citizen really hits the mark. The silver and blue combination looks sharp, and the overall design has a clean, sporty feel. Pros: • Great-looking design • Eco‑Drive (no battery replacements) • Solid build quality Cons: • The band shows noticeable wear after only four months • The spacing of the adjustment holes isn’t ideal — one is too tight, the next too loose One thing to keep in mind with all non‑smart watches: you’ll be adjusting the date regularly, and daylight savings time means resetting the time twice a year. Not a dealbreaker, just part of the experience.

I've received many compliments on this watch. The blue really stands out and matches a lot of my blue clothing. I like the fact that it's solar powered and doesn't need to have a battery change. This us my third Citizen watch, and second Weekender. They're built well and are stylish!

Great watch and style

Really sharp looking watch that has the right amount of shine and weight to pass off as a more expensive model. It's not a featherweight, high tech material, but rather a nice stainless steel that feels substantial on the wrist without being a burden. This isn't my daily wear, but it definitely could be. So far, no dings from use and the face/crystal look sharp. One tiny knock is that the bezel (which apes a compass with N, S, E, W for some reason) rotates fairly easily. My OCD brain wants N to be at the 12 O'Clock position, but I'll look down and it will be randomly at 10 instead. There's no clicks, just a smooth rotation. The green on the ring is a nice accent color without being too flashy. This is the biggest feature knocking it down a star. The date doesn't have a magnifying section on the crystal. Not a huge problem, but my eyesight is starting to get to the point I'd appreciate a little boost. Otherwise, the hands are easy to see and the illum is pretty bright at least for the first couple of hours if it's been exposed to sunlight or even brighter overhead lighting. Despite these minor issues, I really like the watch and would buy another even in another color.

This is my first Citizen watch and also my first Eco-Drive power source. I was very tired with changes batteries as it can be a bear depending on the case style. This intrigued me and so far, after several months of use, it has not disappointed. I have not gone out of my way to leave it in the light. Just normal use and it keeps on ticking. It really is a beautiful watch with the rose gold and dark leather strap. Plenty of various time keeping features for different applications. The only downside is that because I'm very skinny, even on the smallest strap setting, it still wants to slide off my wrist. If this sounds like you, a different strap may need to be purchased or you could try adding the whole yourself.

Watch quality is very good. Strap quality could have been better.
