Filter/Regulator is great. Bracket strips threads.
Overall the system works great. Additionally I purchased the mounting bracket that connects to the regulator by four screws. Unfortunately when I was mounting the bracket to the regulator the screws stripped out after realizing the screws only catch about 2 to 3 threads. I was not using power tools. I would advise against using the supplied screws with the bracket. If you already found yourself in this position, metric socket head bolts and nuts work great, drill out the strip threads

Good tight regulator
This is my third regulator. Replaced because of leakage. This one is good and tight, No leaks. But it has only been installed for 2 weeks so far. We will see how it does in the long term.

Stop shopping, this is the one you buy.
If you're searching for an inline filter for your sandblaster, compressor, powdercoater or whatever, you're probably on this page and not at Harbor Freight for one of a few reasons:1) You want something US made.2) You have other Milton equipment and like it.3) Your equipment or your work is expensive and you can't afford to screw around with junk. All three of those reasons was what brought me to the Milton so I ordered it (and this is after ordering two very high end filters by other brands from other companies and sending them back). Stop looking and just buy this one, and here's why:1) Of all the filters you've looked at (I know because I looked at ALL of them) It's only one of maybe 3 US made inline filters at the $100 price point. It's the only one that comes with a regulator attached for the same money.2) Of all the US made filters at this price point that you looked at, this is the only one with all metal construction. Seriously, all metal. The bowl is metal, the housing is metal, the element is metal, the housing on the gauge is metal. Everything. It's all metal.3) Of all you've looked at, it's the only one with a brass overnight valve that can also be activated manuallySo stop. Seriously just stop shopping. I've already looked at and ordered almost everything you've already seen and everything you will look at after this. I've already done it. If you want a good in-line air filter and want to spend about $100, order this one and thank me later.

Won't Get 250psi at your outlet hose! Not Even Close!
If you are considering buying this Milton 1108 combo regulator and filter with the expectation of getting anywhere close to 250psi working pressure, well forget about it. After installing on my Quincy compressor that has an output of 175psi I was lucky if I could get the regulator to get to118psi, and then over time it would not even hold that pressure. After talking to Cody at Milton customer service, who contacted the regulator manufacturer, Arrow Pneumatics, I was told the regulator is only able to put out approximately 120psi. I explained what the description states on the Amazon item page and he stated that Milton does not come up with that information but that the manufacturer Arrow Pneumatics comes up with that information. Cody stated that he was told there is a high pressure spring that could be procured through Arrow to retrofit the regulator to be able to get higher pressure.I contacted Arrow and spoke with Doug who told me that Milton comes up with the description of the unit and that who is responsible for the information on the item page on Amazon. Doug said that regulator will not put out more than about 120psi but he would send me a high pressure spring so I could install it to get higher pressure. This conversation was on April 24, 2023. I did not receive the spring and called Arrow back and spoke with George (because Doug went on vacation) who said he would send me out a spring and I would get a confirmation email in approximately 1/2 hour. That email never came. I emailed George back inquiring if the spring was sent and did not get a reply. I called George and left a voice mail asking about the spring and as of this time, 7:49pm on May 2 have not received a reply. Also this unit is leaking air from the factory installed brass fitting that connects the filter to the regulator. The unit is manufactured in the United States, contrary to what the information provided on the Amazon web page states, which says made in China. There are numerous other conflicting statements in the description such as below the picture of a circle with 250psi in it that says 200psi...?

Quality
Good quality product that seems like it will last a very long time. Any consumable parts that need replacing you can order from Milton... Installed and pressure tested the apparatus and no leaks, set regulator to 95 PSI and it is working flawlessly.
