Absolutely a 5 Star Printer
I’ve had for almost 1 year. I would absolutely purchase it again. I can’t understand why so many complaints. I’ve had NO problems. I purchased to replace a New HP that was horrible. Prints great, nothing wrong with picture quality, prints fast and it is used all the time for anything I want to print. Holds plenty paper. I love the light weight and is well made. Easy to hook up, buttons are well explained. I highly recommend this printer. 5 Stars all the way! My only complaint is the price of cartridges. Fortunately I’ve only had to purchase cartridges 2 times in 10 months. I did purchase an off brand set of cartridges that were supposed to be compatible and they wouldn’t work so returned them.

Print Shop Quality in your Home or Office
First off let me start out by saying I did not have high expectations for a device that costs this little but it has exceeded my needs by a wide margin. Secondly, my last pixma mx432 printer lasted 15+ years before the feed broke, so I'm not sure about the other reviewers claiming reliability issues with their pixma printers. Getting this thing set up was a breeze because the ease of use with the Canon Print App is actually impressive for once. The alignment process was perfectly straight and the print quality is crisp enough to impress even my snobbiest colleagues. I expected a long wait but it spits out pages at 14 ipm, and it handles compatibility with all my devices without throwing a tantrum. It even prints out at 1200dpi by 1200dpi, which is fine for anything I need it for. The noise level is low enough that I can work right next to it without going insane. Measuring 15"× 14" × 6.7", it fits on my desk like it was meant to be there. The only thing that caused concern was the purchase price of ink after the sample ran out. But that's to be expected with such a new printer and buying genuine print cartridges. Overall I am very pleased with this printer, it's done everything I needed it too, the ink lasts a long time, print quality is great and it's easy to use. That said I'd give it 4.75 stars out of 5, only because the ink was a cool hundo for XL cartridges.
