I Feel Sexy and Feminine Again!
I didn't even know what "chub rub" was until I joined a Plus Sized group when I was planning our honeymoon to Disney. But, I knew it not only made me miserable, but really embarrassed me. When my husband and I were first dating, I had to resort to wearing bike short style panties anytime I wore a skirt. Of course, I had to worry about those bike shorts showing under the skirt as lumps, below the hem of the skirt, or that they might ride up and defeat the purpose. They also made an extra layer of heat in the summertime. The alternative was just to make sure I didn't walk too much. Even worse, what if he put his hand on my thigh and felt that awkward lump under the skirt? I couldn't help but think of them as my "fat girl panties" or "fat girl scuba gear." I certainly did not feel like a beautiful woman or sexy or attractive. I felt embarrassed. I know that skinny girls wear them too for shaping, but I still felt awkward and unattractive. After I got married, I still had a preoccupation with it. My husband loved my body, but that thigh-chafing problem really embarrassed me, so I would dress out of eye-shot when I wore a skirt and I never wore shorts. Bandalettes have been a complete blessing. They look like lingerie and don't make you feel like you're wearing granny panties under your clothes. They look like something you wore deliberately to feel pretty and feminine. They don't look like something you're wearing "to keep your thighs from rubbing." They look just like an attractive addition to your garment - like an accessory. When I first pulled them out I worried about the fit. If you measure like they ask you to, you really have nothing to worry about. These are NOT tight, nor do they feel snug. They fit comfortably and stay up nicely. I tend to buy loose clothing (especially pants) and I have no complaints on how these fit. You can feel that they work as soon as you try them on. Where skin used to grip, it now just glides easily past. The lace is not scratchy and holds it's pattern well when put on. They are made in China, designed in the US. They are hand wash, but really that's pretty easy. The packaging is attractive and subtle, I'm including a picture. For sizing, definitely measure your thigh. Mine was smaller than the pant size recommendation and it fits perfectly! I can't say enough about this wonderful design and I'm going to order more colors today if they are available in my size. Thank you Bandalettes! I finally feel feminine and attractive again! Now I can wear more of the clothes I love.

Yes, all summer long
LOVE LOVE LOVE these. Wear some everyday wearing dresses to work. They stay put all day long, breathe good so you don’t sweat under them, the rubber elastic bands don’t chafe.

Convenient solution for anti-chafing under dresses/skirts, but quality is questionable. Recommend smooth over lacy bands.
I bought both the unisex, smooth thigh bands as well as the lacy women's ones, with the intention of wearing them under dresses and skirts to reduce chafing. I definitely prefer the smooth thigh bands after several days of wearing both. The smooth thigh bands are slightly wider than the lacy ones and seem to stay in place a bit better, while the lacy ones also tend to start wearing themselves down against each other because of their texture. I also had an unfortunate incident while wearing the lacy ones, wherein I was hurrying to catch the train and the upper edge of the band folded down - I ended up getting severe raised chafe marks where the edges of the band had rubbed against my legs as I walked that took several days to heal. PROS: - Definitely reduce chafing, when they're not causing it themselves. - The smooth bands are barely notable when worn in the correct place and are super comfortable, as a result. - Not having to wear a pair of shorts with an additional waistband under my dress/skirt is AMAZING. CONS: - Figuring out where and how to place the thigh bands is more difficult than you'd think, as the swell of your butt causes the back upper edge of the band to fold over frequently, and your thighs are usually wider at top than at bottom, whereas the bands are symmetrical and the same width from top to bottom. - Though the fit is perfect to start, the elastic does start to stretch out slightly after some constant wearing. My smooth thigh bands have now started to slip down on one leg regularly. On the plus side I can wear a single smooth thigh band with nearly the same anti-chafing and comfort advantages, so I often do that. - The silicone bands on my smooth bands have started to detach from the fabric, thanks probably both to daily wearing, the motion of walking, and humidity/heat from my body. I'm hoping the bands remain wearable even if some of the silicone is lost... I do recommend the smooth bands as a nice, comfortable under skirt/dress option, but don't have a great deal of faith that they will last for very long. I might try buying down a size and seeing if they'll fit better as they stretch out.

GET THEM ASAP
I was skeptical at first, especially since my thighs rub so tight my protectant shorts rise up and I still chafe. BUT THEY WERE AMAZING. I used them everyday to my grip to Oregon. Under skirts and dresses, it was so humid, they did not slip, did not bother me, I forgot I had them on. They were not tight, I got a Large I’m a size 12 in jeans. They did not loose elasticity. I was afraid of that. I walked for 12+ hours, the cloth did not budge or hurt my skin. As someone who looked for YEARS on remedies or clothing to help with chafing, do it. Just do it.

One was good, the other rolled down
I wanted to love these so much. I measured myself and I am exactly between sizes. I had tried a pair of the lace ones when they first came out a few years ago and lace was the only option and only beige or black, and they rolled down on me. Feedback from the company was that maybe they were too small. I've gained a little weight since then, so since I am in between sizes, this time I went for the larger size and the unisex, thinking perhaps the company has improved their product. These are either better than they used to be, or the plain nylon bands are better than the lace bands, but still not quite what I wanted. I was able to wear them to the subway, but before as soon as I got to my stop, had to step into the least crowded space I could find and hike the right one back up. A few steps more, and I had to do it again. I got up to the street and it fell down on me! I was so embarrassed. It must have looked like I was stepping out of my underwear on the street. I put it in my bag quickly. I thought perhaps I could get it to work ok, and when I got into a rest room, put it back on. No luck, it fell down again after a few minutes, so I went through the rest of my morning with just the left one on. Fortunately, chub rub is from legs rubbing together, and they are fine rubbing on nylon. It was the bandalette, though, not my leg, as I went to the gym mid-day. I didn't know which one was which after my shower and I put them back on, but as soon as I put them on, I could see that the left one was rolling. I thought perhaps I could fix it by flipping it upside-down. No such luck. It wouldn't stay up. I walked back holding it up through my dress so I didn't have a repeat of the stepping out of it on the street incident from the morning, and I went through my afternoon wearing one just on my right leg. I did find that it stayed up better on the left leg, so I switched the good one from right to left since I was going to be out in the evening as well. I guess I will wear just one. It works ok, but not as I was hoping. I do wonder if the unisex ones, one size down, are what I need, but I'm not sure that I'm willing to spend another $17 to find out.

Sexy, stays up, ripped my skin off.
I'm 5'4" 175 - I went to a fair and it was about 80 degrees so I figured I would really put these bad boys to the test and wear a skirt - I was sooo happy for the first 2 hours, no rub, no pain, no red marks, they were staying perfectly in place, were very comfortable and I felt sexy with them on (my boyfriend loves them too) - After hour 3 I started to feel a pain not in my inner thigh where I usually get chub rub, I got it toward the back of my thigh but not all the way in the back. I didnt pay much attention and figured I would just wait to until I got home to assess the damage. When I looked to see what the pain was I was shocked to see that my skin was completely raw and opened like it was bleeding. I was so sad and disappointed. I had to wait a week or so for it to heal and I thought maybe I was wearing them wrong? So I went onto the official website and made sure that I was putting them on exactly how they say and I even pulled them up a bit higher thinking maybe they were too low and rubbing my skin off - but damn if it didnt happen again. And I only wore them for an hour this time (talk about opening old wounds!) I shouldve listened to the reviews about the lace ones, because I did read that a lot of people experienced this with the lace, but when they bought the plain material they had no problems - I think that the lace literally tears your skin off as you're walking. I'm afraid to wear them ever again because it was so painful - I ended up just going to marshalls and getting a pair of short/tight jockey running shorts and I wore them under skirts for my vacation and was happy. (hot but happy). So i guess if your legs look perfect with no fat on them like the model in the picture you will be good with the lace one, but I have a bit extra in the inner thigh department and these ripped my skin apart.

THESE WORK!
Definitely 5 stars. I love wearing breezyyyyyy hobo dresses in the hot days of summer and SO I do NOT want sweat prone, unbreathable spanx on underneath which not only roll, torture one's waistline, and embeed all airflow (I find spanx to be a modern day equivalent to the victorian corset, "no mas"). Usually all is fine w/my inner thighs, but if walking distances chaffing can start which then becomes a real issue. These are a perfect solution. They WORK!!! Inside they have clear rubber "grip bands", just like thigh high hosery, and so that keeps these perfectlyyyyyy in place. NO slippage at all. The lace is soft... and these allow a comfy breeze thru-in-thru. Some reviewers have mentioned these rolling. A TIP: on your back side, so back of thigh, these can roll IF you don't lower these on the back of thigh. It's not the product rolling (failing) it's b-cheeks pushing them down as you walk;0) As others have suggested, I just placed these higher in the front of thigh and then slanted them as they travel to the back of thigh (still fully protecting my inner thigh touching area). So when I walk my b-cheeks are not working them down. Then I can walked for hours in city scapes, have ZERO ROLLING, sliding, slippage... even when sitting down, leaning over (etc). If in doubt which size to get I'd recommend moving a size up. These have a nice, soft stretch... and their rubber strips hold which then negates the need for the lace band itself to have a "tight grip" to stay on. So, going up a size should still hold and also will avoid any sort of "muffin" result. Bodies also tend to expand a bit when in super HOT, humid days...

VERY pleased!
I don't normally write reviews, but these bad boys are amazing!!! I got them in black lace, size C, and was unsure if they would fit since I didn't have a tape measure on me (I'm 5'4", 140 lbs, size 8) - I took a wild guess and it worked out. They fit beautifully...not tight at all, not loose at all. I wore these every day on a hot and humid summer trip to NYC. I wanted to wear dresses to keep cool, but I knew my thighs would be rubbing together constantly with all the walking and didn't love the thought of wearing biker shorts under my dress (kinda defeats the point of keeping cool in a dress). ZERO chafing, ladies. None. Nada. Not even close! I even wore them under loose-fitting white dresses and they didn't show through (YMMV, though). The only issue I could mention is that they will slip down a tiny bit if you walk up a lot of stairs, but that's to be expected, and you can easily adjust them back to the right height with a discreet little tug or a trip to the bathroom. Also, they might roll down a little if you have them pulled up too high. Only pull them up as far as necessary to prevent thigh contact. I'm so happy that these worked so well, and the price is so reasonable. I love the color selection as well! I will be using them for a long time, purchasing more if they should need replacing, and recommending to all my lady friends with chafing issues!!

Amazing!!!
What a god send!! 6 months pregnant during a UK heatwave my upper thighs have been really sore. Up until now I’ve been wearing shorts under my skirts and dresses but depending on the colour you can see I’m wearing them whereas these are completely hidden! I’m a size 10/12, naturally I’ve gained weight since being pregnant but even the slimmest people’s legs can chafe. Really soft material, true to size and don’t slip down. So so pleased with this product worth every penny!

Parfait

AMAZING
Ladies and gents. I have had chub rub for years now, I’ve used shorts, cut off leggings, some “comfort shorts” from Evans and nothing, NOTHING as worked as well as these. I orongally ordered a size too big after taking the advice and going up as I was in between, so I was a little disspoainted they didn’t work as well. But I took another chance, ordered a smaller size and by goodness I’m glad I did!!!! THEY ARE AMAZING. gone are painful thighs, hot sweatiness after wearing shorts, and HELLO to feeing fabulous!!!! Make sure you measure properly and you won’t regret it!!!!!!!
