Had to buy it anyways
It’s okay but it’s kind of a pain that I need a hub for a simple wifi switch.

Not expensive Zigbee hub, did not connect to Aqara sensor
Use it with Moes temperature and humidity sensor, works ok.Tried to connect Aqara door sensor to it and could not do it. Maybe i did not do it right or it is not suppose to connect to it.First wanted to return but then decided to keep it with the Moes T and Humidity sensor, works ok. Distance about 7-8 meters with no problem.

TUYA App didn't see hub on its own. Had to add it manually.
I'm totally blind. I a few days ago got some new TUYA Zigbee electrical outlets and power strip. Those items wouldn't work directly with the Echos. The Echos only saw one of the outlets on each device and not all of them. So I figured being I just received those devices! I would go and buy a TUYA hub and see if that made any difference at being able to get access to all the electrical outlets. So I went with this brand to try.I received the hub. It is small and is square shaped. The Micro USB cord plugs into the back of it and the prongs go up to the top of the hub not down towards the bottom. The pairing button is also on the back of the unit ware the Micro USB is. On the top of the unit near the front edge of the unit as far as I can tell are two LED's. The right most I think is power. The one just to the left of that is the setup/connected LED I think. That is the one that blinks fast when in pairing/setup mode. At least using the light detector that I went by. The hub cannot be wall mounted. The hub comes with a short power cable that you can plug into a USB cell phone charger. The cord maybe 14 inches or so in length.I got the hub online usinb the TUYA Smart App for Android. Didn't know what App to use for sure; So used the TUYA and not the Smart Life App being their was a few of Smart Life Apps on the Google play store.Had issues with the App working with the Talkback screen reader! But that isn't the hubs issue. I got my new Zigbee power strip online to the hub and it showed all 4 outlets and the USB ports. The hub would even let me turn off the whole strip or just one of the outlets and even let me be able to turn off the USB ports.I even brought it online to Alexa and was able to turn off each plug, the USB ports and the full power strip.

Stopped working after two months
Worked great for two months, then stopped working entirely. It will no longer connect to Wifi.I contacted Moes customer service. They replied in broken English requesting videos of the device. When I sent the video, they requested more videos of me conducting ever-more-elaborate tasks (show changing the power cable, show trying to connect, switch to mobile data on my phone and send a video of it trying to connect again, etc). I’ve given up with them and threw out the device.

Better than Samsung the Goliath
I have had Samsung "smart" (quotations added for irony ) things hubs for 2 properties the last 7 years. This device is waaay cheaper and seems to work better than Samsung. My devices connect easily. I get a notice if something drops offline. It's tiny. The app is a little funny with some Chinese sprinkled in here and there but it works great. I didn't get an automation to run (water sensor wet then close valve) but you need to leave the device(valve) as last position on its reset page. It doesn't need to make sense unless you read this and have the same experience. Then it will. And unlike smart things you can connect BLE and wifi and z wave to the same hub ! Duh. Brilliant! It was compatible with my water sensors of various brands. They all connected easily. I paired it with the smart life water control valve for flood protection. Also way better than LEAKSMART. AVOID THEM.

Works with some ZigBee devices
I bought this hub to connect my Kwikset Convert deadbolt. It was able to pair to the device just fine, however it didn’t give any option to control it whatsoever. I was able to pair some old xfinity ZigBee door sensors, and they worked fine. So after a bunch of troubleshooting and researching, I’ve come to the conclusion that this hub is compatible with the more common ZigBee devices, and your luck will vary. The software also needs a lot of work, but it is functional. To conclude, the price alone makes this device worth trying. If you can get it to work, you’ve just saved a ton of cash. If not, just return it.

It works as expected and works well
I have many IoT devices connected via Wi-Fi to my router, when some of the items started to fail in response to commands, I decided to give ZigBee a try. This MOES hub has been a life saver. I was able to replace some Wi-Fi switches by ZigBee switches, now they connect to the hub and not to the router making the whole system very stable. It has been 3 months since the installation and in addition to the switches I have added a total of 9 new devices and I have not had a single failure. I can highly recommend this MOES hub and the ZigBee switches that they make.
