10/10 - we’ve had it for about a year now and the only real complaint is the obnoxious beeping noise when the battery is dying. The battery does last a good 12 hours though. There are tons of after market accessories for mounting - we used the one that wraps around the crib until our toddler realized she could mess with it, now we use the wall mounted one and it’s a game changer. The temperature reading always seems to be about 5 degrees higher than reality, but it’s good for a ballpark temp. We love it so much that we play on buying the dual camera version because we are expecting a second baby - really wish the unit was expandable so we could just buy a second camera. Video quality is very good, only degradation noticed is when you zoom in all the way on night vision but even then it’s good enough. The night light isn’t very bright, but that doesn’t matter for us. It does have sounds which are nice to have in a pinch though we use a separate sound machine usually. Sound level is perfect, loud enough to wake us up without disturbing the whole house. There is about a 1 second delay on the video and sound from camera to monitor. When you speak through the monitor to the camera it is slightly robotic and startled my daughter until she was about 15 months old.

Updating review. I actually love it. I had a prayer rug that was being blown by the fan in the babies room (reducing SIDS risk with fan) and it was triggering the motion. You could bareelllyyy see it in the corner of the camera so I didn’t realize that was what was triggering the motion alert. Moved the fan and now motion is working perfectly as should. Wish the camera quality was better since it gets a little grainy, but love that I don’t have to watch the camera constantly

This baby monitor exceeded my expectations. The video quality is very clear, and the screen size makes it easy to monitor both cameras at the same time. I really like the sound quality and how simple the setup process was. The connection stays stable, and the night vision works very well during nighttime. It gives me peace of mind knowing I can easily check on my children from anywhere in the house. Overall, it’s reliable, user friendly, and a great investment for parents.

Absolute garbage. The monitor stopped working on the second night. The volume is extremely low, and while the picture is clear during the day, the nighttime picture is so fuzzy that I can’t even see my child breathing, let alone get a clear enough view of her face to tell if she’s sleeping. On the second night, the screen suddenly went completely blank with no warning, and there was no sound either. When I looked up how to troubleshoot it, the instructions said I had to reset the monitor from inside the baby’s room. Having to go into your sleeping child’s room at 1 a.m. just to reset a baby monitor is ridiculous. Definitely not something I would trust for overnight monitoring.

I bought this monitor as my biofun monitor was giving me more of a headache that help so I felt like it was time to go with Vtech since it's a well known, reliable brand, First impressions, the camera is nice and the monitor is huge. It's 7 inches and to be honest I think it's a bit too big. It's clear and you can see your baby well but I guess from going to a small portable monitor, this seems like an ipad. The camera has great rotational ability and I like how the plug into the camera from the wall is secure in the bottom of the camera. my previous camera utilized a usb c and it was not secure and kept falling out. This does not have that feeling at all. Monitor - Like i mentioned before the monitor size is a large 7 inches. It says the battery life is about 12 hours. I was surprised that it really was about that time when it was dying in the morning. When it was low battery, it makes this obnoxious beeping sound that warns you it will die every 10 seconds. I would recommend keeping the plug near your bedside which was a rookie mistake on my part. I love the temperature setting. My child's room doesn't have air conditioning at the moment so the temperature accuracy is really important to us. We keep the monitor on silent but it seems like good sound quality when I had the volume on. you can also use the talk feature from the monitor the camera. The camera and monitor were very easy to connect to eachother. The one con I find is that the charger for the monitor is not a regular usb C and it's own plug which can be annoying as you can't use any charger for that. That would be the one feedback I give as it's 2025 and it's a new upgrade that the charger should be a standard charger. We will see how the monitor goes. For the ease of use and the quality, I think it's worth the price but no more.

This is a nice monitor for the price. I love that you can move the camera with the monitor screen. The video quality is really good. The reach is also really good - we were able to put the baby down for bed and walk up the street about 100 feet to set off fireworks for the 4th of July. I love that this is not on WiFi - makes me feel more comfortable as a mom that you cannot access the stream without the monitor.

Overall very impressed with the purchased. I was able to get it on a sale for like 20% off and was worried about the quality. My goal was for a product that was wifi only with ability to move around and good sound/mic quality and it hits all the boxes. Bonus of a large screen. I was concerned about of the F grade on the reviews, but came out moderately impressed given there are more expensive models that I could've gone for. Battery life - seems to be solid although its hard to tell. Our baby is on the way so have not put this to the test yet. My main gripe is that they choose to use a proprietary connector when they could've easily used as USB-C or any common connector so you can just plug it now. Now you have to have it plugged in with their charge. Size - 7" screen. fantastic. My MIL always squints so shes going to appreciate this when shes helping out Screen/Quality/Brightness: quality of images isn't like going to be ultraHD unfortunately. I'd say they are close to 720p at the most, but enough to see all the details of what's going on. Camera: Very responsive with minimal lag. Quiet in movements although can hear it. Sound and mic quality great. Pivoting up and down with nearly 360 turning is fantastic. Overall, for this price point, would give it 5 stars. There's obviously better improvements to be had, but you would be hard pressed to find them with 2 cameras and this large of a screen. Even if you take the price out of it, I'd still be giving this about 4 stars as there are options with better camera quality and probably mic sensitivity.

I bought this set because it provided two features I needed, PTZ and dual cameras. Those two features are pretty nice, but there are other issues with the set that makes me question if it was worth it. Previously we had a single BabySense monitor and I would rather switch back. Our issues cover the quality of the video, and audio through the system. Advertised as 1080p HD camera setup, you would think there would be stellar video, even though the screen is probably a 1080p screen the video is like watching HD on a broadband connection. The latency is noticeable and the distortions are extremely visible. There are times we only see a hand dart across the room. Buy a still image has no issues at all. There is a warping on the video as it seems to have issues with any movement. And this isn’t even getting into the sound issues. We play bedtime music through a Toniebox in the room. The camera needs to be right next to the toniebox for us to hear it. Our previous camera we could hear the toniebox as it was playing its music from across the room. As you might imagine this makes the microphone and the two way communication very difficult. It has become easier to go into the room to communicate with our child. Before the manufacturer gets on here and indicates we must be exceeding the anticipated range I am currently sitting here 15 feet from the camera and experiencing these issues, I can hear my child muttering through the door but not in the monitor. The 1k foot range doesn’t seem plausible. There is no way this could function at 1k feet, are there any walls and doors in that calculation? The adjustability is the only reason I give this two stars. Yes you get two ptz cameras getting them pointed in the correct direction is easy. Each axis and the zoom works as expected as does the night vision and motion detector, but let me ask you is that all worth it if you can’t see your child opening the exterior window or hear them calling for you in the middle of the night.

Deze babycamera werd mij aangeraden door vrienden. Het is echt een game-changer voor ouders die hun kleintje veilig en rustig willen laten slapen, terwijl ze tegelijkertijd een oogje in het zeil houden. De installatie was super eenvoudig. Wat ik vooral waardeer is de heldere beeldkwaliteit, zelfs in het donker. Zo kan ik de baby goed in de gaten houden, zelfs als het licht uit is. Het geluid is ook van goede kwaliteit, wat voor veel gemoedsrust zorgt. Een ander pluspunt is de tweerichtingscommunicatie. Het is zo fijn om tegen mijn baby te praten of zelfs een slaapliedje te zingen, zonder dat ik de kamer hoef in te gaan. Daarnaast is de camera stevig en voelt hij betrouwbaar aan, wat belangrijk is als het gaat om de veiligheid van je kind. Het is een uitstekende investering en ik zou het absoluut aanraden aan andere ouders! Ik ben ontzettend tevreden met de aankoop!
