We used this travel tray for a five year old during a seven hour trip and it kept all her projects, crayons, pens etc from falling down. She seemed to enjoy it as well.

I have a 5 year old who loves to be on her ipad for long periods at a time during long car rides (2 hours one way) and we constantly have to hear "my belly hurts" or "i feel sick".So i saw this and thought it be perfect for her to do something else other than focus on her ipad. I put it to the test last weekend and not once did she complain about feeling sick and she LOVED it. She gets super excited to have it around her car seat and gets excited to draw and do her arts and crafts on the road. Theres a couple of things that I wasnt a big fan of: the sturdiness of the tray itself. I wish it was more of an MDF material instead of a flimsy plastic tray and i wished there were stras around the flap to securely attach to the car set to really keep the tray in place.
