​I originally bought magnetic L-plates for my car, but on my very first drive, the plate on the bonnet flew completely off, sailed over my roof, and hit the car behind me. Needing a much more secure solution, I decided to try this double-sided nano tape to lock the plates down, and it has been a total lifesaver. ​ This tape is exceptionally strong. Since applying it, the L-plates haven't budged a millimeter. I've driven at high speeds and through heavy, torrential rain, and the adhesive hasn't loosened up or peeled at all. It provides a completely reliable, weatherproof grip. ​ Because nano tape is incredibly sticky, my only slight concern is leaving it out in the sun and elements for months at a time, which might make it tough to peel off later. To protect my car's paintwork from any potential damage, I plan to take the plates off every few weeks and reapply fresh tape. ​ If you need something heavy-duty that absolutely will not budge in wet or windy weather, this nano tape is perfect.
