A second-generation Filipino HIT!
When I first bought this, I was a little skeptical of whether it would measure up to the same flavor as my late mother-in-law (who was an absolute WONDER in the kitchen). I lightly seasoned and seared my chicken thighs just the same way as she used to, and then added this Fila Manila Adobo sauce and left my chicken to simmer in the sauce while I cooked up the same jasmine rice my mother-in-law used to. As soon as everything was done, the family took a bite of the chicken and couldn't hold back their tears as they said this was "damn-near" the exact same way as Grandma K used to make it. It's now a must-have in my house as it brings back so many good memories and fills our tummy's the same way she used to. Thank you Fila Manila for creating this delicious product and making it seem like Ms. K / Grandma K is still cooking for us in her kitchen. :-)

Taste not as expected
Taste to me more like soy sauce. Not like adobo I’ve had before. Restaurants adobo seem different tasting. I simmered chicken with sauce so maybe it’s just a marinade. I won’t rebuy but may try other sauces.

Delicious and convenient
I love the ease of using it when I need a quick adobo dish. My wife is vegetarian, I put this on fried tofu. She loves it!

Okay
I saw this when the brand was on Shark Tank and got such a raving review by the panel and wanted to try it. I have a Filipino in the family who makes good traditional dishes from scratch. This sauce, was nothing special other than being conveniently fast for putting together a meal. Handy for shelf stable ingredient.

It’s good not great
We had never had adobo chicken, so I made this in the crockpot with chicken, onions, and peppers and served over white rice. It was good- but it wasn’t great. I am glad we tried it, but not worth the $9 price tag. Would buy again if half the price.

This Marinade cannot be beat - 10/10 recommend
I recently tried Fila Manila’s Adobo Marinade, and I have to say, it’s an absolute game-changer! As someone who loves exploring new flavors, this marinade blew me away with its depth and authenticity. The balance of savory, tangy, and slightly sweet notes is spot-on, and it perfectly captures the essence of traditional Filipino adobo. It’s incredibly versatile—I’ve used it for marinating chicken, beef, and even vegetables, and every time the results are outstanding. The quality of the ingredients shines through, making each meal a memorable experience. If you’re passionate about bold flavors and easy-to-use marinades, Fila Manila’s Adobo Marinade is a must-have in your kitchen.

Filipino Adobo made easy
I can attest this tastes authentic and makes cooking adobo super easy. Just add sauce. I add water or chicken broth to cover the whole pan and simmer. A little pricey though.

Not good
This takes nothing like the chicken adobo I’m use to. This is so dark in color as well which has a lot to do with what’s put in it. Adobo normally is light in color and taste soo good, this is no where close.
