My new earbuds...
OK...should I post a long review...or a concise one...Let's see how it goes..on the fly... I bought these because I have only had Apple earbuds...I have had almost every generation. I wanted to break away as I know there has to be something better. After countless Youtube reviews and online searches...I landed on these. I must say, they are awesome! I just love the sound. Very deep and crisp sounds. They have a couple of settings that you can select...I love the extra bass mode. Now...Let me say, THIS IS ALL THAT I WANT THEM FOR. I don't use them for phone calls, although I have answered the phone with them on, and they work. Sometimes they don't but I don't know if it is me or the other person, or the crappy signal...Hard to review with all these variables. Like apple, the instantly connect, and stop playing music when you take them out. If you are using them to watch social media...here is one problem. They don't disconnect. Unless someone can show my how...maybe I'll do a deep dive into this, but so far, I don't have a way for them to disconnect. Why would you want this??? Well..if you want to show your friend or family a funny reel...they won't be able to hear it!!! You will have to put the earbud back in the case for it do turn off or turn off your bluetooth...then play the reel for your friend. I think that apple earpods did stop when you took it out of your ear. I thought the case was a cool idea at first...but now, it's boring. I do find myself using the features on it, like the volume and changing the hear-thru option, but you can do this from the earpods. I have found it difficult to connect to more devices, like my tablet. I have gone through the videos online, but still haven't been able to do it. Is it a deal breaker...no. I don't really care. At least right now...I will going on a trip in July and will use them on the flight to watch movies...BUT...they have a cable that you can connect to the inflight sound and the case will broadcast to the earbuds...that will be cool!! What else....I have had them now for about 2 months. The charge lasts A LONG TIME!!! I wear them one at a time and it will last about 6-7 hours in my ear...and when it says "low battery" it means %10, but even then, I have worn them for at least another 30 minutes and still about 3-4 percent left! I bought after market memory foam tips as I like them better than the original. Did the originals work, I think so, but I can't rate because the affinity to the memory foam. I used them for the apple airpods as well. Noise cancellation is awesome. Hear through is awesome. They have an option for selecting foam tips vs original tips...apple doesn't have that feature. Overall, I am very happy with them. they are expensive, but so are the apple airpods. Hope this helps someone on the fence or thinking if there is anything else out there that compares. These compare very well!! I think better..and I am connecting with apple products.

Definitely worth it, would buy again
These have been a joy to use. The earbuds fit snugly in my ear and stay put without being uncomfortable, I've tested the noise cancellation in a major downtown city with public transportation overhead and it does a superb job of filtering out the noise. The sound is true and enjoyable. Durability has been great. Of course, this is their top line so the price is a bit of a premium, but absolutely worth it. I don't even have complaints about the touchscreen as it covers a number of options if you don't want to address within the available app. One little thing I would consider for the case and this is small complaint. That I wish the pods you put your buds into was shaped the same way as when you are taking them out of your ear, making them both easier to put in and take out.

Solid quality all around
JBL is tuned for a more bass energized vibe and I love that style. They look clean, screen functions well, the wireless connection via 3.5mm jack is awesome too for things without bluetooth connectivity. Range is great. Yeah, expensive, but they really are quality too. Had mine for almost a year now, and no noticeable loss of battery performance, sound performance and case is still solid.

Feature-packed, but lacking performance.
These earbuds have very good audio in general, with typical JBL somewhat bass-heavy sound. However, the equalizer function's customizability easily compensates for the coloration. Other features include Ambient Noise Cancelling, spatial audio with optional head tracking, a smart charging case with touchscreen controls for nearly all features, a companion mobile device app with controls for all features, the case can be used as a transmitter to get the sound to the earbuds from non-Bluetooth devices with audio out via USB (A or C) or ⅛ inch (3.5 mm) headphone jack, or anything that can be adapted to one of those. Buds are capable of receiving Auracast audio. You can also listen to your tracks in high-resolution LDAC audio at 24 bits & 96 kHz. The only major features that I've seen elsewhere, that the Tour Pro 3 lack is a case that doubles as a Bluetooth speaker or a power bank. But honestly, does anyone really want to carry that extra weight around with the earbuds all the time? I already have a power bank and several Bluetooth speakers. I only carry them around when I reasonably expect to want or need them. However, I found the experience of using the buds for the first time less than satisfying. The main reason for replacing my previous earbuds was declining battery life. But though they were inexpensive (brand 233621, model Zen), they had what I now realize to be excellent broad-spectrum ANC. The Tour Pro 3, in contrast, even at their maximum ANC setting, allow quite a lot of high-frequency noise through that the Zen cancel. This was quite noticeable and annoying while vacuuming the house. I expect better from a flagship product of a well-known brand such as Harman/JBL. If I hadn't gotten them at the Cyber Monday discount with the help of a gift card that covered half the cost I would definitely be returning them and getting something else. I have read elsewhere that the Tour Pro 3's 360 Spatial Audio is also lackluster, but having nothing to compare it to, I can't say much about it. Head tracking seems to work as expected when enabled, moving sounds from center to left or right as I move my head, but the spatial effect is minimal for me. I'm one of those for whom headphones and earbuds nearly exclusively produce sound that seems to come from inside my head on a line between my ears. Without head tracking, the Tour Pro 3's spatial audio adds fullness and extension so sounds hard-panned left and right (or nearly so) seem to come from outside my head, and those from nearer the center of the stereo image seem to be slightly forward and less sharply defined, but still inside my head. Using headphones or earbuds, I've never heard any effect that made the sounds seem to emanate realistically from somewhere in front of me. It's likely that I never will, just because of how my ears and brain are. Verdict: I'll keep them, but if I had known in advance how weak the Tour Pro 3's ANC was, I would have chosen another brand & model.

7 months later- they’re garbage
Leaving this as a one star until JBL does something to either completely replace or refund. Purchased in SEP25, and now the right ear bud no longer connects/is out of battery because it’s been constantly on- even when placed back into the case. Quite literally did a complete firmware and software update with the case and ear buds. Then noticed issue still persisted, went ahead and factory reset them. Seemed alright for 2.5 minutes, walked the case down stairs for tomorrow’s gym use and noticed once again, that I was connected to a Bluetooth device and it was the right ear bud. Too much money paid for the substandard quality product received. I’m guessing this will be my last ever purchase of “expensive” earbuds. Isn’t worth it when I had an inexpensive set of JBLs, comparatively ($50 vs $325 USD), that worked absolutely spectacular for 2-years and never EVER had an issue. Shameful.

JBL earbuds
I grew up seeing all the brands become good or bad and JBL has always been up there. I ordered these because I can never really find what I'm looking for in earbuds. Im not a bose fan, yeah they do make some decent things but ive always returned theirs because something else Id find would just sound better to me. I love these earbuds! It has so many features ill never use them all but most of all I like the sound of these. I cant stand the tinny sound of some that claim they have bass to them. I like to hear my music through all of the intended sounds. A lot of earbuds tend to fall short but these did not disappoint. I had done research for weeks before getting these. I spent at least $1000 on different brands and when I got these I gave the others away that I hadn't returned. The sound is excellent, they're comfortable, they last a long time, and my phone calls are crystal clear. I can wear these for 8 hours straight and they don't hurt. I don't really use the case features but you certainly have full control of these through the case features by itself. Even the background noise can be completely tuned out. I've been a JBL fan since the 80's-90's and they still don't disappoint.

Feature rich, but has problems
I've owned dozens of wireless earbud systems over the years. These are packed with features. They sound great. They feel great. The case is useful for quick adjustments or checking battery life. They seem to last forever. I've been really happy with them. Update after 8mos of usage: The sound, the battery life, and features are all still fantastic. But I'm going to switch back to my Airpods for daily drivers for a few reasons. One fell out of my ear and into a sink of water -- not good. They are larger and don't fit as well as Airpods so this can happen. The touch surface buttons are accidentally triggered all the time. I lose my place on audiobooks or accidentally flip noise cancelling mode several times a day. It is just not a good design for the button. The case is quite large in my pocket -- perhaps about 50% larger than an Airpod case. When wirelessly charging the case at night, the screen turns on and off, lighting up the room and causing sleep loss.

Day n+1 update: it worth a 4.5 star
Day n+1 update: Warning: once you lost the AUX to USB-C cable like me, it's almost no way to buy this cable. Most usb-c to aux cable/converter on the market is DAC included and doesn't work with JBL Tour Case. They bring another firmware update and everything seems more stable and I enjoy it. The sound and convenience do replace all my earphones now: including Sony WH-1000XM4! Except: 1. recently I still got the case reset once. 2. ANC is still a tough issue. 3. In the meeting, "heee" sound when people speaking. And also for phone-call microphone, if you're outside, your speak seems hard to be heard. I'm almost give up to use its microphone. I hope this is the last. Day n update: - The world's easiest auto-reset ear-buds? Every-time it happens I need to forget and re-connect to all my devices. Annoying. - During the meeting, when people speak every sentence, a high-frequency sound I can't really describe keeping happening. Kind of slight "heee" sound, kind of annoying. Day 3 Update: I still like to turn on LDAC. Its ANC is indeed a bit strange at times. For example, when I was riding my scooter or walking near a construction area, I noticed some kind of high-frequency knocking sounds. Also, when I wear a raincoat or put up the hood of my hoodie, it keeps accidentally touching the earbuds—almost like it’s happening a thousand times! Day 2 Update: After: 1. Update firmware of earbuds and the case. 2. Use AAC (instead of LDAC) decoding. 3. Disable "Smart Talk". Now the battery of earbuds seems to last for 8 hours. What others I didn't expect: Its earbud tips are not as comfortable as those on the Jabra Active 7. When removing them from your ears, there is a sensation of suction, followed by a slight “pop” sound feeling to the ear. Sometimes, this causes the earbud to end up in the wrong orientation, and you have to adjust it by hand to put it back in the correct position. The sound isn't best but better than I expected. I think it's good enough and worth the price together with its other features. 3.5mm connector to Auracast to earbuds is a very important use case to me (and it works). Changing the picture of the case display is interesting after I found a personal and good picture. --- Day 1 review --- I bought these earbuds mainly for the advertised long battery life. However, on the first day of use, with a full 100% charge, they only lasted about 4 hours — far from the claimed 8 hours and not consistent with what other reviews suggested. Here’s what I experienced: 1. The first time I took them out of the charging case, the battery dropped from 100% to 90% in less than ten minutes — before I even used them. 2. When I connected them to my phone (an Android), I noticed they had already been paired with a device named "iPhone," which raises concern that they might be refurbished.

Truly the best earbuds I have used
The JBL Tour Pro 3 are easily the best earbuds I have owned. I got them at 30% off and even at full price they are worth it. The touch display on the case is extremely practical, showing battery levels and letting you adjust sound modes without opening the app. The ANC and ambient modes work very well and the sound quality is outstanding, with clear vocals and rich bass. A standout feature is the Bluetooth transmitter in the case, which lets you connect directly to in-flight entertainment or other devices that do not support wireless audio. Battery life is excellent, wireless charging is convenient, and multipoint connectivity works flawlessly. These earbuds combine great sound, strong ANC, and unique features that make them a true premium experience.
