SIMPLY Plastic-Free Peppermint Gum, 100% Xylitol Sweetened, 3 Packs of 15

This gum deserves better reviews! In my opinion its texture is basically indistinguishable from “normal” endocrine-disrupting, synthetic gum. After a while, I actually prefer the texture of this gum because regular gum breaks down into sludge if I chew it long enough, but this stuff remains the same texture all day. The initial sweetness wears off quickly but the peppermint flavor itself actually lasts many hours even though it’s not insanely powerful like mouthwash-flavored plastic gum. If you let it get on your lips while it’s wet, it is stickier and more difficult to remove than normal gum. Not a big deal though. It’ll actually come off of glassware and silverware super easily and in one piece. If the standard of judgement was not skewed by synthetic chemicals that no one should be consuming in the first place, I honestly don’t think anyone would be complaining.

Clean ingredients, just what I was looking for. It doesn’t chew exactly like a traditional sugar free gum, but considering I used to be a diehard “Peppermint 5 gum” fan, this product was a satisfactory replacement. It takes literally one second to chew through the stiffer than normal texture, and I would also say that it does seem to lose sweetness/flavor sooner than a traditional plastic based gum, but the texture is a really nice chew once you get it going. It actually doesn’t bother me to basically have lost flavor after like a half an hour. The chewing is more second nature at that point. Keeps my brain busy! It’s a worthy trade-off for me to not be getting a dose of micro plastics, and gut disrupting artificial sweeteners. Nothing like that in this product.

By far the worst gum I've ever chewed. Very stiff and flavor doesn't last at all. Chew Pur gum if you want a sugar free gum that doesn't look like rabbit droppings.

I bought this as a healthier alternative to double bubble for my child. Unfortunately, it was a fail as she got it in her hair quickly and it is much stickier than double bubble. I tried it also and the flavor is very mild and fades quickly. I’m not a huge gum chewer but between the flavor and the ultra softness, as in feeling like I’d need more than two pieces to really have texture to chew, I can’t stand chewing it more than just a few minutes before spitting it out. I could probably handle the flavor of it had more texture but also realize that I chose this based on the dental health factors not longevity. So, to freshen breath and do a midday clean, yes it works satisfactorily. Happy gumming.

I love this gum! I used to buy Orbit in bulk and chewed it daily, but decided to try and make a few more holistic choices after turning 30. I saw the ingredient list and thought it couldn’t hurt to try. The first time I tried it I thought the taste was very bland after 2 minutes of chewing, and thought I’d never buy it again, but I hate waste so made myself finish off the pack before going back to my old reliable artificial flavor because “how bad can it be?”. I was literally shocked at how disgusting the artificial flavors/taste/textures were in my old reliable brand! I’ll never go back!

It's pretty good but not amazing. Flavor is good but not long lasting enough. The chicle base breaks down too fast, I don't get a half hour out of it. Otherwise pretty good. I'm trying to get away from poly-based gum and this one is a decent offering, without being ridiculously overpriced like some of the ones you see heavily advertised on social media. Picture has gum on the package for size reference.

This gum starts out good with a decent burst of flavor. Then after about 2 minutes or so loses all its flavor and starts sticking to your teeth. I throw it out at that point. Cant chew it much longer than that. Its not like ordinary gum that you can chew for awhile. On the positive side the ingredients are way better than my previous sugar free gum but I am going thru this stuff like crazy fast. They do have a breath mint that is way better in my opinion

Edited review after going through half a pack (initial review was after one box) I really think the company's values are exceptional and it's hard to find compostable gum (with recyclable packaging too!!). This is a true zero waste option. The compostable wraps are a great touch. The quality of the gum takes some getting used to, but after half of the pack I have acclimated to the softer gum and more subtle flavor. I chew this gum for dental health and have noticed that it is pretty comparable to plastic gums in removing food build up, plus it keeps your mouth fresh with xylitol. I appreciate the thoughtfulness of this product and I hope the company can keep making improvements to the consistency over time. Every once in a while I still get a stickier/softer than normal piece; it can easily be dislodged from teeth but it's still a slight annoyance. For now I will make this my go-to for dental health. From the packaging to the ingredients, this is the best option on the current market for both your teeth and the planet.

Love this product. Tastes great good value for money notice a difference in my mouth health already and fully recommend. It’s a great texture and refreshing and natural!!

It’s a challenge trying to find chewing gum without sweeteners like xylitol so these seemed like a good option as they use real ingredients. It’s a shame they are so expensive and the gum is too thin and sticky and gets trapped between teeth and any imperfections in your teeth. The search for a simple healthy gum continues

Arrived in undamaged packaging but the gum within the boxes are all stuck together and hard. Impossible to even separate a piece to sample...not that it looks at all appealing! Worst thing is cannot return for a refund so complete waste of money.

Loses taste very quickly so have many that won’t be used .

Weird look and texture. Very chewy and flavour does not last long. And the cherry on top, you can’t return it. Will not be buying again. The brand True gum is better
