Worked right out of the box
I liked the remote was the same as picturedBattery installed and remote ready right out of the box

A Compact Replacement Remote for Many Optoma Projectors Including the UHZ50
I experienced a moment of panic when I misplaced the original remote for my UHZ50 for several hours. The control buttons on the top of the projector simply can't provide access to all to the projector's functions. It occurred to me that Optoma might use the same IR codes across its line. Turns out I was mostly right.No instructions came with it. Right out of the mailer, all I had to do was pull out the insulating strip from the replacement remote to start using it. To be clear, this remote didn't turn my projector on or off. That's OK because the power button on top of the projector does that too. It also lacked a button to switch HDR on and off. Again, not a big deal for me. Every other button worked as expected once I turned my projector on.Overall, a cost effective cure for lost remote anxiety. My highest recommendation.

Works as expected out of the box
I was hesitant to but this remote because I thought I had to program it, or it wouldn't work, but the website said, works out of the box w/o needing programming, so I bought it, and it did. I'm happy so far.

Works great on a HD39HDRX
My projector wasn't listed as supported but reading another review where someone claimed it also wasn't listed for their projector but they bought it anyways and it worked! So i figured why not give it a shot, the oem remote was almost $80 shipped directly from optoma. To my surprise it also worked on my projector (HD39HDRX) and not just kinda worked, no. Every button worked as labeled(except for video and vga, my projector doesnt have those inputs). If you need a cheap basic remote this is perfect!
