**Q: How precise are the gh/kh tests? i need something that measures in the single digits.**
A: If you are advanced enough to be testing KH, you need to move to salifert or aqua forest test kits. A bit more expensive but if you are going to start buffering, it needs to be right or you may be doing more harm than good. Time to Change!!! :-)

**Q: How many test will it do?**
A: All I can say is, quite a lot. Because the test is performed by adding more and more test solution until it changes colour, the amount used depends on your water hardness, so the number of tests you'll be able get out of it will vary quite a lot. But I'd say it's probably good for over 50 at least.

**Q: Does the ph test kits have a shelf life**
A: Not sure but would not rely on any brands test strips. Especially API. Recommend a JBL or Sera test kit.

**Q: Nitrate test, do bottles have the red seal on them? The ones without the red seal don't fit my stand.**
A: No they do not have red child proof caps they are the later design that are all white.

The readings are fairly accurate, I have compared the results against the API liquid tests, JBL ProScan strips andthe PH with a calibrated PH meter. Some readings are a little harder to read than others and always seems to end up between two shades/readings. Overall they are accurate and good for a quick spot check of your aquarium
