Best steamer for hardwood floors
Best cleaner I’ve ever owned! I have hardwood floors (sealed) in halls and great room… can’t believe how much dirt this steamer picks up. I do not use anything but plain water and the steam setting. I can refill the clean water tank 2 times before I need to empty the dirty water tank. It is shocking to see the dark brown water when I empty the container. Even when the floors look clean, this steamer will find “invisible “ dirt and I’ll get a tank of brown water at the end of the job. The “clean” cycle on the machine is a good start for getting the machine ready for the next job but you still need to take everything apart and clean it by hand. I keep an extra roller and filter so I can change out the wet ones and give them 24 hours to dry. I like keeping the machine ready to go at all times, especially when the grandkids come over and spill milk, juice, spaghetti, you name it! Love having a corded model so I can finish the job without having to worry about running out of battery time. I hate to clean and there’s nothing worse than being out of power in the middle of a job! I’m 68 and I’ve owned MANY different vacuums, steamers, mops, etc and this has been the best. I can’t get on my hands and knees to clean the floors anymore (arthritis) and this machine saves me so much pain. I haven’t mentioned the tile floors in the kitchen and bathrooms yet. Does a nice job on cleaning the tiles too but the rollers do not reach into the grout lines as well as I would like. The manufacturer needs to come up with a roller that will get into the grout lines. All in all, this is a terrific steamer and I highly recommend it.

This thing is great, wish I had gotten one sooner
I can't believe how well this thing cleans. It's also easy to clean and put up when you are done using it. The cord is a little shorter than I expected, but that's because when I was reading the reviews people were talking about how long the cord was. I simply have to use an extension cord with it. It's also heavier than I expected, but it is self drive so the weight isn't really an issue. I would definitely recommend this to anyone trying to find an easier way to clean their floors.

It’s a good machine
I wanted to be able to give it 5 stars, but there are a few things that leave me wanting. Pros: Tineco customer service has been fantastic for me! The holders for the extra mop head and filter were missing. They were fast to respond, quick to send me a replacement and also sent me a free roller brush. It gets the job done. I haven’t had to use it on any spills yet, but everyday dirt hasn’t been an issue. I love that the clean and dirty water tanks are separate. After cleaning, the machine has a self cleaning cycle. Cons: What I’m bothered by is how many times I have to run it to get the roller brush clean. It’s hard to believe that the brush is being cleaned as it washing like the advertisement led me to believe. The machine itself needs more cleaning after using it than I hoped. But, it’s definitely better than using a regular mop and bucket. The last thing that isn’t great but also not a deal breaker is that it leaves a bit more residual water than I had expected. I think it leaves more when it’s in steam mode than with regular mode. I wish I could try the newer, more advanced models but they are a bit out of my price range. To be fair, this is the only Tineco I have tried, so I can’t compare within the brand. The only other steam mops I’ve owned were the kinds with mop pads. Those worked great when I had all sealed wood floors. They weren’t great on the 15+ year old stone tile in our most recent house. I think the sealant wore off before we bought the house. The pad type mops just felt like I was pushing the dirt around. I was looking for a mop that would clean the roller brush as I was cleaning. I am not convinced this model does that .. at least not as well as I wanted. Also, be weary of generic roller brushes. The one set I bought don’t fit properly and cause a very loud rattling noise.

Don’t get this if you have pets
This thing isn’t worth having. Takes twice as long to get the job done. Doesn’t get the edge cleaned. Doesn’t pick up dog hair. I had a bissel cross wave a few years back and it really doesn’t compare to this. Very disappointing.

The Ticket for Hard Floors!!!
2 weeks into having this, I am very pleased. I was using a Bissell steam mop, which worked as advertised but the vacuum left particles between hardwood slats and it took multiple passes to clean a sticky mess (like dried on sauce/grease/jam). I was greatly displeased with a Dyson v15 with steam so it was returned. This thing is perfect for a house with tile/laminate/sealed hardwood flooring. The rotating brush with steam quickly dissolves the messes and the vacuum picks up everything....dust, dirt, chihuahua fur. The steam evaporates within a few minutes compared to models with only use cool water. It's very easy to clean. This model doesn't have the loop thing and I don't need it.

Discontinued product?
I bought iFloor 5 steam wet dry vac recently. I wanted extra rollers and filters. Neither are listed for sale on Tinneco's site. The Tinneco rep told me filters are out of stock with no expected availability. The rollers were available through a bizarre and time consuming process. He gave me a link to a generic Accessories page where I could buy an unspecified accessory for $1. He told me to change that to $23 and submit my “order”. Then I received an emailed order confirmation and had to give him my confirmation number. He apparently then placed the order for the replacement roller. I'll only know for sure when something arrives. If I stopped anywhere in this byzantine process, I would have to start over with another Tinneco rep. Too bizarre for me to consider for future replacement needs. I will trash this machine and buy from another manufacturer with honest and efficient product support. I'll give a review of the machine. It is adequate for light duty on my glazed porcelain tile. I purposely spilled orange juice on the kitchen floor and let it dry. The machine did nothing even from multiple slow passes and from letting the steam sit over the spot. It cleans light accumulation of daily traffic well. The best part is that the tiles are very shiny and bright after use. I would not throw away the bucket and Pinesol. I doubt the claims of sanitization. The machine is very heavy. I would not expect a battery powered version to last long per charge.

Best floor cleaner ever!
I am 76 years old and live with my dog, so my floors need frequent cleaning. I have tile floors throughout my home, and this Tineco vacuum has made cleaning my floors so easy for me. I love everything about it. I got the corded model so I can run it as long as I want without charging. It is self propelled so it is very easy for me to run and move around. It vacuums, scrubs and steams my floors all in one pass. When I am done, I put it back on the base, and it runs a 5 minute program that cleans the brush. All I have to do it empty out the water receptacles and it is ready for next time. I actually look forward to cleaning my floors now. This company also provides very good customer service. I highly recommend this product.

It’s good but has some quirks
I think as far as the ability for this steam mop to clean up dried on stains on hardwood it does well. However, it has some unintuitive and weird aspects. 1. The automatic forward movement i assume is to prevent damaging your floor but its weird. 2. The ability to only start the steaming once youve begun moving it is also weird. Why can’t it warm up the water in place so its ready when i want to start? As it stands you need to mop with cold water until it heats up into steam. 3. Why is there no storage spot for the cleaning brush on the vacuum or stand? There is plenty of room. 4. Is a remarkably poor vacuum. As i said it mops very well but does a very poor job of picking up minor debris which is very inconvenient. 5. The stand is low quality and has rubber feet but only on some portions so there is still raw plastic touching hardwood meaning it can still scratch… lastly, because its so powerful, which i appreciate, they cheaped out by providing a fairly short cord because of how low AWG it needs to be. Also, your lights will likely dim during portions of using this. It seems to have some sort of intelligence that detects when you're trying to go over something multiple times and you can hear it amp up and the lights may flicker. Running on a 20A circuit eliminates this. Lastly, the water storage seems unnecessarily small in order to have a very slim shaft but you cant detach the shaft and use it separately so whys it matter? Id rather have larger water storage tanks. Overall, I’m not sure it quite worth the price but its definitely not a bad product and will get the job done.

You wife will love you.
Very decent. Does a good job. I probably would have purchased a bigger model, however this works well.
