Perfect upgrade for my 2016 Sienna
Put this IIWEY iK7 in my 2016 Sienna and it finally brings it up to date. The Sienna is a great van but the factory system doesn't have CarPlay and the maps are outdated, so this was exactly what I needed. Install was simple on the Sienna dash. Phone-based GPS, calls, music, all work through Siri voice control with no lag. I like that it came with a 64GB card already included. The 4K front dash cam records really clear video, and the included 1080P backup camera is nice to have. My Sienna already has a factory backup camera so I didn't absolutely need it, but I wired this one to the license plate for a wider view and it helps a lot when backing out of parking spots. If you have a Sienna from this generation and want modern features without replacing the whole head unit, this is the way to go.

Great Replacement Carplay Screen and DashCam
I purchased this unit to replace the existing CarPlay system in my 2012 Nissan Sentra, primarily because it includes a built-in dash camera. Given the number of unsafe and distracted drivers on the road today, having an integrated dash camera was a major selling point and provided an all-in-one solution without requiring additional equipment. The user interface is intuitive and easy to navigate, making setup and daily use straightforward. The display is bright, clear, and visually appealing, and the screen size looks sleek and modern on my dashboard without appearing oversized. The touchscreen is responsive, and switching between Apple CarPlay and the camera views is seamless and efficient. The backup camera is an excellent addition and, in my opinion, a must-have feature. Installation required some patience because I did not want to drill any holes into my vehicle. Instead, I carefully routed the cable through an existing opening in the rear compartment, which took additional time and effort but resulted in a clean installation. Overall, I am very satisfied with this product. It combines convenience, functionality, and safety features into a single device, making it a worthwhile upgrade for older vehicles.

Very good
Great product! The wireless Apple CarPlay connects quickly, the screen is bright and responsive, and the 4K dash cam records clear video. Installation was easy, and everything works as expected. Excellent value for the price. Highly recommended!

Good enough, but also too bright
It seems to work pretty well so far. It's a little laggy sometimes, and the screen is pretty meh, colors are kinda washed out and pixels bleed together a bit, but it's cheap and clear enough to get the job done. Something to note if you are using the FM transmitter feature, it uses the usb-c cable as the antenna, I wanted to ditch the power adapter it came with and use my own because the cable it comes with is like a mile long, but had some difficulties at first using a cheaper charging only USBC cable and the FM transmitter stopped working. Used a better quality cable and it worked again. My biggest complaint is that the screen doesn't dim enough. You do have to have it on your dash to use the front dashcam effectively and it's so obnoxiously bright even at its lowest brightness setting at night. It's easy enough to turn the display off with the button on the top, but then it kinda defeats the navigation ability /media information display purpose of the device. I leave it on min brightness all the time and it's more than bright enough to work in full daylight. The cord for the back camera is pretty long, I mounted the camera on the roof of my E350 van and had plenty of wire to run it to the front, down the pillar along the windshield, and then across the dash to the main unit with 2-3 feet to spare which I just tucked in between the dash and the wind shield. I did have to extend the reverse activation wire by quite a bit but not a big deal. The backup cam works great, the camera sees a lot more than the display can show and you can drag the view up and down to suit your needs and you can adjust the backup lines in settings. It works perfect with my android phone with Android auto. I'm going to keep it, cause I already did the work to put it in, but I would look for something that can go much dimmer for night driving in the future.

Great display & excellent support over the long-term
I've seen a couple reviews saying they had issues with Iiwey support. I can say from personal experiences, they've done nothing but offered some of the best and most timely responses to my requests I've seen ever. Even with a recent update, I noted a bug and they were not only quick to respond with support to assist in troubleshooting, but even quick in resolving a firmware issue. Not many companies offer a fix in a matter of a couple days... I have two of the 10" displays for android auto. One gave up the ghost and quit working (loss of wifi signal) and after a couple correspondence with Iiwey support and a video of the issue, I received a replacement overnight. Now that's some service, after confirming the issue, they immediately sent a replacement honoring their warranty without hassle. This was simply amazing to me to experience this level of support. And to see them offer a software fix so quickly, it shows Iiwey believes in offering a quality product and stands behind their branding. With so many knockoffs and random branding of products, it's hard to find a brand that is consistent. I would not hesitate to purchase an Iiwey branded product after my experiences. Concerning the display, at first it was a bit buggy with android auto, but that was apparently a Google issue. I've been using these for over a year and they work amazingly and consistently. I've been I'm rentals where the Android auto / carplay fails.... not this. I travel with these running Waze 5-8+ hr long trips with no disconnects and with Amazon Music running as well. The software updates have only improved the features and the 4k front camera is no bs camera like a lot of the others available from no name brands. The loop recording is synced front (4k) and rear (1080p) and is spot on with no pixelation like I've seen other loop recorders do. The Iiwey app makes finding a recording a snap and able to trim with little effort. The mirror app works 100% within the limits of the app your are mirroring (e.g. Netflix blocks mirroring but not YouTube). I now actually run two Iiwey 10" displays, one as a rear view mirror replacement and the other fulltime as a second recorder and runs Android Auto. Seems silly but I drive to much in stop and go traffic to not have multiple angles. I've seen Iiwey offers some multi-camera recorders, would probably have been easier with one unit, but driving a car without even an aux input.... two screens is not a big deal.

Wonderful product if you have the space for it!
I would recommend this external screen 1000% for those that need an update. I did end up returning but not because of the screen, so I wanted to write a review for those considering this. I drive an older Mazda suv & unfortunately the makers left me no room whatsoever anywhere on my dash to attach anything to. My suv is also a 2015 though & I desperately needed an update, so I ordered this one because of the smaller size. It has everything that it advertises and more. Synced up to my iPhone through CarPlay without any problems & automatically connected to my car audio so the audio could be heard through my car speakers, not through the device, which obviously gives a much better experience! Connection to my husband’s android phone was a little trickier, but we finally succeeded there too. The screen is bright & beautiful, responsive to touch - I loved finally having navigation 🙌🏼 Siri will respond through the screen, you can opt to have your messages read to you when they come through & the apps through car play were all responsive, worked seamlessly & the front camera will record & display right in front of you! I have Amazon music & my music played with no problems at all. There are options for layouts & navigating back & forth was no trouble at all. The screen gets power from a cigarette lighter & this was my 2nd problem. Unfortunately my closest cigarette lighter is in my center console , where all of our phone chargers are connected. This meant that we couldn’t charge all our phones at once if needed & also, the cord hanging on the side was a bit of a hazard for whoever would sit in the passenger seat. And finally, really the only downside of the screen itself is that it doesn’t power off with your vehicle. The power button is off in the corner & is super simple to reach - a press on the power button & it turns it off or on. However, I could see myself getting distracted by my little ones & forgetting to turn it off at one point or another. I have no idea if it eventually would auto-turn off after inactivity, but if not, it’s definitely a risk to drain the battery, especially if left overnight. Again, more of a personal issue than the actual screen. If you have room to spare on your dash, have a cigarette lighter nearby & you’re not worried about being forgetful in turning it off, this is a solid investment. It gives you an immediate update & it’s so nice to have. And super affordable - especially considering all it’s capable of. Even comes with a backup camera for those whose vehicles don’t come equipped with one. Can’t speak on that part since I didn’t need that, but if it’s as solid as the rest of the package, I would trust it to be solid as well.

Works very well! Some minor issues though…
For the most part it's a pretty decent device. It definitely performs very well when used for Apple CarPlay. The dash cam setting is also a very nice. Touch and is also very useful. I've only had it installed for a few hours so far. Issues: An issue that I have run into is, it seems to have a time zone set that cannot be changed so it continuously changes my time to a different time and I have to change the time back. This is continuous, as I said before I have only had this device a few hours and I have already had to fix the time even while writing this review three times because the time keeps changing to an hour ahead. There does not appear to be any settings to set region settings or set a time zone, you can only set the date and the time and the time format of 12 or 24 hours. I do not have any of these issues in my other car with Apple CarPlay. AirPlay: The screen mirroring feature is quite useless for any apps that are ‘landscape only’ such as TikTok, Facebook and Instagram. My main purpose for this device is simply for the Apple CarPlay feature, the other additional features are just bonuses. For me in particular, as long as Apple CarPlay works I don't really have much to complain about. The other features are just extra things to me, with that being said they have all been very beneficial and useful. Resolution: The screen resolution is decent, it’s not HD by any stretch and the swiping is not very responsive, but it does the job more than capably. If you like your devices to be seamless and not have any jittering, when you try to swipe, then you might have some issues with this device. I know that sounds like it is quite significant, but to me it functions much like any android phone. So if you’re used to the performance of an android phone, then this device will be right at home for you. For the price, this is more, much more than worth it! Speed: The device starts up rather quickly and Apple CarPlay connects automatically. Additional feature: It does have speakers installed on the device but I have no idea why you would need those or when you would ever use them. Also regarding the speakers, there is a very annoying very high-pitched beep sound that comes default, you will need to disable that sound. Sound quality: I have this installed on my Lexus GX 460. Don't worry your Mark Levinson system is fine and this functions utilizing the OEM Bluetooth for sound. So, you can still listen to your music and audiobooks and other things with full OEM sound quality. Connectivity: Connectivity is also something that caused some form of issue. When I tried to connect to the Airplay option, at first everything connected except for when I tried to connect for airplay. I had to reboot my phone and the device in order for that feature to work. This may not be the case for you, but it was for me and it is something that you can use as a troubleshooting step if you run into the same issue. Dashcam: The dash cam for the front and the rear are both decent, they are not a dash cam I would recommend if you are utilizing it for getting license plate information off of the vehicles because the cameras are decent but they're not good enough to capture license plates at a distance in front of you. Side note: This assessment is based on what it looks like on the screen so the file may play on another device with more clarity. Brightness: Brightness is nothing to even speak of, it’s plenty bright during the day and almost too bright at night! I have to turn the brightness all the way down at night and use dark mode for everything. Oddities: Something else of note, this appears to be written on Linux, so you will see some things that still appear to be still in python form. So instead of seeing on or off you will see open and close. Open, obviously meaning “ON” and Close obviously meaning “OFF”. Overall: It’s $100 for something that performs this well and as long as it lasts at least a few years, it will have paid for itself in no time at all! Should you buy it? YES! You will not regret it if you have read through my review completely and understand what to expect.

Works Great and is Affordable!!
This unit performs exactly as described and offers an affordable, practical solution for modernizing older dashboards that lack built-in Bluetooth or a digital screen. Because it powers directly through a standard 12V auxiliary socket, there are no internal batteries or charging concerns to manage. The display is clear, easy to read, and provides helpful, real-time information at a glance. After a full year of consistent use, it has proven to be durable, reliable, and user-friendly. Overall, it is a great, cost-effective upgrade for adding modern connectivity and functionality to an older vehicle.

Awesome Product
I love mine! It's a great purchase. I wish that the back-up camera beeped, but it's still great! Fairly easy to install and use.

Satisfied
Super happy with this portable CarPlay! Setup took just a couple of minutes and it connected to my iPhone right away. The screen is bright and easy to see, and the touch response is smooth. Wireless CarPlay works great—I can use waze maps, youtube music, and take calls without any hassle. Honestly feels like I upgraded my whole car without spending thousands. Definitely recommend if your car doesn’t already have CarPlay.
