Nice air shock by a reputable company
I purchased these to put on my Chevy Silverado 3500 to help level my load when pulling my camper. Do these installed very easy and did the job very well. The shock itself is of good quality however if there was anyone fault with this, it would be the plastic Key filler connection where I would have preferred to see a brass filler valve T and brass connector instead of plastic. So far no leaks and the ride quality is good. They were a perfect fit and a good value solution for leveling my truck when hauling my camper.

Works for 2004 gmc sierra
I have a 2004 gmt800 single cab that was hitting the frame after a 4 inch drop kit. I didnt want to c notch the frame so I opted to go with these instead. Great purchase and the truck rides Much better now.

Good shocks, lousy instructions
Easy part first - they seem to be holding air, and if they continue to do so, they should do exactly what is needed. However, it took some effort to get to this point. Physical installation of the shocks presented no major obstacles - while fatter than the originals, nothing was particularly difficult to fit. However, by the following morning my 90 psi pressure had become naught. As was mentioned in another review, several O rings are attached to some of the air supply tubing, and 2 are included in the accessory bag. But nowhere in the "instructions" do they mention what the proper configuration is - indeed, the instructions seem to show one connector with 4 O rings, (see fig M in the enclosed copy of the "instructions"). However there are not enough O rings to go around were that the case, and it would be impossible to screw in the connectors with 4 O rings attached. My choice placed 2 O rings on each of the Schrader valve connectors, leaving 1 for each of the shock fittings. So far, that seems to be providing a good seal, but it's only been one day. I'd advise taking care with the running of the air lines to avoid sharp metal that could damage the air lines, as well as staying clear of the exhaust system - in my mini van, the rear muffler runs the width of the van near the rear fascia; it's probably wise to keep the plastic tubing as far from that as possible. I'm posting the entire "instruction" sheets along with this review - in my opinion it's only marginally better than no instructions at all. And I've been around cars for a LOT of year, but the included illustrations look nothing like any part of any car I've ever seen. Finally, my particular kit contained none of the straps illustrated in fig L. I don't know how they will survive in the under-car environment, but I used a LOT of cable ties to keep the air tubing in place. As I said at the outset, I'm hoping the system is air-tight now - I wasn't looking for a hobby keeping these things pumped.

Perfect fit
Perfect application , the Monroe shocks didnโt have the right orientation for the air line fitting . These fit perfectly and installed quickly.

Don't Waste Your Money
I put these on my 2012 GMC Sierra 1500 to level the rear of my truck when I would use an auto hauler. When I bought these the window that says these will or will not fit your vehicle indicated they would. Why would I buy something that did not or would not fit? Now the window says they won't! The shocks fit my truck just fine and were easy to install. Installation took place at approximately 15,000 miles and they seemed to work really well over the last few of years. I only used the auto hauler approximately 5 times in the time the shocks were on the truck. The rest of the time the truck was used just as transportation with nothing in the bed. About a month ago, at about 45,000 miles I noticed a knocking noise...is that a good description?....coming from the rear of the truck when I would go over a bump. I have a 4 post lift in my garage and today I put the truck on the lift to check things out. I found that all of the bushings had become loose and the rubber had migrated out of position so that the ends of the shocks were no longer centered in the mounting brackets on the truck, and the edges of the ends were rubbing on the brackets! Plus the "Bell" on the top of one of the shocks had broken loose from the shaft and was free floating. I've used Gabriel shocks over the years and they used to be really good quality. Now they're just another piece of junk made in Mexico...or to be politically correct..Hecho en Mexico. So I would recommend to not waste your money on these. UPDATE: I ordered the ACDelco air shocks for the rear of my truck to replace the above shocks. When I received the Delco shocks and opened the box guess what....they are the identical shock as the the Gabriel that "won't fit my vehicle". The number stamped on the shock absorber is the same on both brands! And both are made in Mexico... I noticed on the Delco shocks that one of the bushings was already misshapen and was positioned wrong in the shock end. So I opted to return the ACDelco shocks before even installing them. Why replace junk with junk?

Best Air Shocks around!
I have installed these on 4 GM cars and I am very happy with the results. The first set I installed in a 1978 Olds Custom Cruiser wagon back in 1984. I still drive the wagon. The shocks seem to last about 11 years in Arizona, slightly longer than OEM air shocks. When they fail, after about 11 years, it's because they develop a slow air leak that gradually gets worse. Gabriel has a Lifetime Warranty on these, so use the warranty if you keep you cars like I do. These days when I install these shocks I also replace the coil springs, which tend to loose their height over the years. I like the variable-rate springs better than the original fixed-rate factory springs. For GM B-body wagons I like the Moog CC623 springs best. You will need new rubber isolators for the top and bottom of these springs, Moog k6203-2 (2 in a box). If you are replacing air shocks on a Chevy, Buick or Cadillac that had OEM air shocks for ALC, (Automatic Level Control), you will want a way to tie into the original air line, assuming your compressor is still working. This is because the ACDelco air shocks used a unique left shock with a built in "Tee" to send air to the right shock. So get a Monroe AK16 accessory kit, which is basically a "Tee" that accepts the air line tubing size. The OEM tubing and the Gabriel tubing are slightly different, but the Monroe "Tee" works with both sizes. Once you get this setup working with the ALC compressor, you can adjust the trim (rear-end height) with a 10mm wrench on the sensor lever mounted above the rear axle. All this stuff is available on Amazon, and at very reasonable prices. So if your rear end is dragging, or you do a lot of towing, this is the way to go.

Good quality. As advertised.
Great quality shocks. Currently running a pair on the back on my 3 wheeler as air bags. They required modification but as a test set are handling everything pretty good ๐ One thing to watch for is if you are looking for eyelets on top and bottom ๐ The top is not an eyelet on the 13" model. It is made to bolt upwards into a mount. The 15 inch model has eyelets on top and bottom. Easy to fix but the picture can be deceiving.

Good value!
Good seller, good product, good value. Thank you! I have one problem, they do slowly leak pressure over about 24 hours unfortunately I have been unable to track the source so far. Apart from that they work well and they are less harsh than the standard shocks that I replaced.
