these heaven ii's blew my mind so good that I almost ascended to pluto!
After me bezzie mate would not shut up about these in-ear headphones in the pub (because they were "really good" according to him!), I made an impulse deciscion to buy these. Me being the music connosieur that I am, could not resist a new pair of in ear headphones, especially after me last pair just went missing at leeds fest. What can I say. I am absolutely speechless!!! Before owning these, I used to own a pair of skullcandy ink'd in-ears that cost me £7 from B&Ms but are worth about £15/16. The skullcandy ones were alright for the average punk listener, and deffo beat the tinny poundshop ones, like. But honest to god, these Heaven ii's (cost me about £100 but worth every penny!) knocked the £16ish skullcandy ones out of god damn sefton park and into the deep end of the river mersey.Honestly, they're that good. I did a test run on them, with that new gender roles album just to be sure I didn't waste money on crap headphones, and these headphones deffo didn't disappoint! (neither did the new gender roles album, prang!)I see that half of these reviews are complaining about no bass. That's the point. They're not supposed to sound bassey, they're not made for people who want to blow their ears off to electronica or EDM or anything of the sort; maybe yous just aren't used to hearing music without so much bass in it.

It's true that they are lighter on bass (although there is nicely controlled bass) that some others
Read lots of reviews before purchasing and simply put these beat my Senheisser in-ear momentums hands down. It's true that they are lighter on bass (although there is nicely controlled bass) that some others, but not to the detriment of the overall sound which is beautifully balanced and refined. Unless you are a bass head, I cannot recommend them highly enough

Great earphones for those who prefer more detail than the thumping bass when listening to music. Quite shocked to see the negative reviews of these wonderfully crafted earphones.

High quality earphones!
This product is superb with the price. Sound quality is very good. It is more suitable for those who wants clarity instead of bass. Definitely will recommend others to buy this product!

Using balanced armature drivers gives so much depth to music its a delight. Only downside is a slight lack of bass
Do yourself a favour and buy these. The sound quality is simply stunning, mid and highs are so well balanced.Using balanced armature drivers gives so much depth to music its a delight. Only downside is a slight lack of bass, but with some minor EQ tweaking you'll be fine.

Great quality, detailed sound.
Having read some reviews before trying these, I was a little surprised to find such negativity on Amazon, so I thought I'd give my two pence. The Pros:Sound quality is superb and they have a really good soundstage, detail and the feeling of space is great. Bass is controlled.Build quality is great, cable is good. The Cons:If you are into heavy rock / electronica / bass, these are not perfect for you. They are fairly ruthless on the quality of the original recording - if it's bad, you'll know about it.If you listen to acoustic, jazz, classical, most blues and some rock, they are great. I think it's a little unfair to label them as 'bad' for lack of bass, but they might not be to some tastes. If you are a fan of heavier bass, try the Adagio III's.

Poor sound, no bass!
These were a gift for my son. I bought them on the strength of reviews on some websites but wished I hadn't ! My son said that whilst they were very comfortable, the sound quality was really bad & there was no bass at all. Returned for a refund & I will buy him a different make.
