Batking Travel Bass Guitar Electric Headless Bass, 5 Strings Electric Bass with Gigbag & Truss Road & Wire

The bass came well packed, easiest hand stunners I ever used, the neck tension was tight when I got it so tight I barely got it to turn to the left, to relive the string rattle, so the neck would bow. Once that broke free and spun counter clockwise, neck relief was there. It's an excellent little bass, for travel, widest fretbosrd ever seen, but the aysymetrical neck was a great reliefe, it's a mico beast guitar, with a wonderfull gig bag and all... For a travel instrument I give it a 5.

I rate this FIVE stars for why I bought it and what it delivers. I bought this solely to be my "sofa" bass. You know, the bass you plink on while watching TV. The bass you use to build your dexterity and speed. I did not buy this bass to play on gigs. I have several other professional-grade instruments for that. But I don't want those expensive beauties sitting out there and possibly getting knocked around while I'm just refining my skills and watching sports. So I found this bass. For scale perspective, the fretboard is just a bit shorter than my 34" basses (not much... if you measured from the nut to the 24th fret, it's maybe 1/2" shorter than my 34" basses). It comes well packed (see photos). In my case, my Batking needed minor setup adjustments (truss rod, bridge saddles, intonation, etc.). Since I do my own setups for all my instruments, this was no big deal. And adjusting the various items turned out to be quick and simple. You might ask, "If you had to do some setup things, why rate it so highly?" Every instrument I own required some setup tweaks when I got them, yes, even the ones that cost over $2,500. Depending on where you live, the instrument travels many miles through different climates and humidity levels during shipping. These environmental factors greatly impact the truss rod and other adjustments. So it only makes sense to expect minor setup adjustments, whether you spend $250 or $2,500. In summary, this is great for my needs. And in the padded case, it sits next to the sofa to get used during televised sporting events. And no more bumping into the lamp or knocking over my drink ;)

Its ok at best. For the money I wasn't expecting much but hoping for more. The tuning pegs are extremely hard to turn and the neck is almost as wide as my hand. It does come with tools (you will need to adjust truss rod and action when you get it) a nice carry case and an unexpected instrument cable. I wish the buttons for guitar strap were in abetter spot. It's very floppy and hard to play. I moved the top one on the neck closer to the body and it helped.

I’ve had my Batking 5-string for a few months now. The reason I bought it was for its lightweight. It delivers! Before I used my full-size 5-string basses for practicing. I got tired of sore shoulders from practice. I had it set up at the Guitar Center, Cucamonga, and I’m thrilled. The only con is that it has a volume knob on top near my belly. If I move around my belly tends to rub the knob and lower the volume. As for being hard to turn the knobs, not for me. These are no big things. It comes with a gig bag which I keep a turner in. For the instrument cord, I wrap the jacks in a plastic bag and secure them with two rubber bands. I carefully pack the cord in the gig bag. As the ends of the strings are sharp, I make sure the guitar strap covers the string ends. The bass is good for practice, but it doesn’t compare to my full-size Schecter, Sire, or Yamaha basses. The price is great.

For the price, the Batking Travel Bass Headless 5-String, is not worth it. The playing action is horrible, even after adjusting the string's fretboard height as needed. Still a horrible sound. I'm a Reggae Bassist and this bass doesn't have any bottom, because of the cheap single pickup. Too bad. Because I really do like the design!! Also, the shoulder strap anchors need to be redesigned. Very uncomfortable !

I have only had this guitar for 2 weeks but so far i really like it. Its so much easier to practice with this bass without having to worry about knocking things over. I bring this with me everywhere so i can practice. I have seen some reviews that said these wont stay in tune, mine does. Its not the easiest to get into tune though. The dials on the end arent easy to turn. I had to get a pliers to help me get them tight enough. Other than that, i really like this Bass.

トラベル（ボディーレス)、ヘッドレス、5弦、パッシブ。こんなニッチなものがこの価格で手に入ることに驚きです。音も悪くないです。届いた時点では若干逆反りだったのでトラスロッドを回しました。 一つ問題点としてあるのは、立て掛けるとすると接地する部分がブリッジのペグ部分であるためブリッジが傷みそうで怖いです。さらに言うとボディー底部による支えなどもないのでラックにも乗りませんし、壁に寄りかからせておくだけだと非常に倒れやすいです。毎回ギグバッグに入れておくとか、もしくは適切にクッションを敷いたり毎回ストラップをどこかに括り付けたりなどの工夫は必要です。

This bass is very poor. When it came, there was no relief on the neck. It has taken nearly a week to correct this. When I put a strap on, the strap button at the tuning end pulled out. The screw is thin and looks too small for the hole. The wood inside looks soft at this end. I put on a different button and this seems to work. The neck button is high and a strap length has to be exact to allow access to the fingerboard for it to be playable. The bass hangs downward, so adjustment will have to be made to bring it to a comfortable playing position. I need a 5 string to play wh.at I need so will continue for a while longer, but I cannot recommend this bass as a practicable proposition. Not suitable for beginners. Not value for money. Sound quality is ok. Appearance is nice. Not good quality. Playability is dubious at moment.

Suena mejor de lo que esperaba, obviamente como cualquier bajo electrico nuevo, necesita ajuste y servicio para sonar aún mejor. Es un poco incómodo y difícil de tocar en un principio, pero una vez que encuentras la posición correcta se vuelve muy divertido de tocar

Es bueno a secas. Para eventos grandes, no tiene la suficiente potencia. Es incómodo por la posición de los tornillos para el talí. Como instrumento para ensayo cumple.
