This is the perfect neck pillow for an airplane! I used my FlyHugz while traveling to South Africa from the States. With many 9 and 11 hour flights that are overnight, I had to sleep. It was so comfortable for right or left sleeping and my head never bobbed forward or jerked me awake. The fit was perfect for me. I have a petite head and neck. The velcro closure was perfect allowing me to make it as tight as necessary so my head wouldn't fall forward. I tried the Bcozzy but I couldn't get it tight enough around my neck and my head fell forward. The FlyHugz is comfortable foam, easy to roll up tight for storage in the bag or secure around my carry-on with the velcro. I also used it on my lap to hold my tablet when I couldn't use the airplane tray table. It did have a smell when i first got but ibused some Fevreeze spray and let itbair out. The smell is totally gone. It was a GREAT PURCHASE and I'd buy it again in a different color too! I'll be using it again for my trips to Hawaii and Italy.

I have probably tried every travel pillow there is (except for those that go completely over your head like a giant hoodie, those just seem too claustrophobic). This is the only one that has worked well for me. It fits perfectly and provides an optimal level of support all around. It doesn't get too hot, either. It also compresses easily into its carrying case and is lightweight. I had a long flight (12 hours) coming up and thought I'd give a different travel pillow a try again after basically giving up on them and I'm very glad that I did.

Comfortable but be careful of the Velcro rubbing your neck. After an 11 hour flight I had a small cut on the back right side of my neck. On the flight home, I adjusted the neck pillow to have the Velcro attach on the left front side and I did not have the same problem. I feel this is a good quality pillow for traveling, it is supportive and also rolls pretty small to pack in your carry on or attach it to the outside. Also, air out the neck pillow when you receive it so the fumes aren’t so strong. I let it sit for several days out in the open before I used it for travel.

While on and trying out it was comfy. But on the plane it hits in all the wrong areas. Cant have full size headphones on. If you are short, it hits wrong on yhe seat back and is not comfortable. Ended up just using a pillow.

I recently flew from New Orleans to Lisbon with my family and I wanted a new travel pillow. I read the reviews and took the suggestion of another reviewer - I bought several pillows and tried them out myself at home. I bought the Cabeau, the Trtl Bamboo Pillow, Bcozzy, and Flyhugz. It was a tough decision. At first they all seemed great. The Bcozzy was arguably one of the softest. But I didn't want a soft pillow because I didn't think it would keep my head up during a flight so I eliminated it. The Trtl Bamboo pillow was interesting because its not exactly a pillow - its a plastic wedge covered in fabric that you wrap around your neck to keep your head from falling. It had great reviews, but it wasn't for me because it wasn't comfortable. I finally narrowed it down to the Cabeau and Flyhugz. I kept going back and forth between the two. The issue that I had with the Cabeau is that it had a string that allows you to tighten the pillow around your neck and that string broke! And that's exactly what I love about the Flyhugz - they use a velcro strip that allows you to tighten it (without worrying about whether you're going to break a string). The pillow is comfortable that my head did not flop while I slept. I normally get hot during flights, even during overnight international flights. I read about the breathability of the Flyhuz in the reviews saying that because your wrapping this pillow around your neck you may get hot. I didn't have that issue at all. Regarding size, this fits well. It even fit my seven year old daughter who also used the pillow. You can rotate it so the thicker part is on the side or in the back. Another feature that I that is the storage bag. The pillow wraps up like a roll of stamps and fits easily inside a storage bag. Don't take my word for this. Remember, everyone has different preferences. Buy a few of them and try them yourself.

I bought this travel pillow for my daughter for her super-long flight to Japan. She said it was the best travel pillow she’s ever used, and she slept well on her flight there and on her flight home. My mom just bought one for her trip to Alaska! I haven’t used it yet, but my daughter is tough to please, so I’m confident it’s comfortable if she says it is!

Very comfortable. I fell asleep on my flight with no issues. It really helped with my neck issues. Made such a difference. I am claustrophobic but this neck pillow didn't bother me a bit. Would definitely recommend this. Truly made a difference and will be part of travels

Good product though I found it slightly big and constricting around my neck. Found it quite flexible to use as a lower back pillow.

This product has an inferior Velcro substitute that does not fasten and hold, and I will have to take the product to my tailor so that he can replace the faulty connection fabric with real velcro. The foam neck support however is very good, and it is the only reason I'm keeping this item and modifying it to correct the problem.

Looks good and they is like a feeling of choking butniverall neck and head feels rested and protected from bobbing . The price tho is overpriced . There is abig tag made in china so i dont know whtnits priced like this the cloth isnt even that high quality
