This chiller worked great for 5 months, but now is unable to cool below 66 deg F. Total bummer, tried resetting multiple times, cleaned my ice batch and filters and still fails to work. Looking for a better unit currently.

This chiller works great and it really easy to use. When paired with a cold plunge tub, or any tank of water that needs chilling, it allows for precise control over the minimum temperature. When cold plunging, it is important to be able to control temperature for acclimation and also gaining maximum benefits from the practice. It is super easy to set up and comes with all the fittings and tubing needed to hook up to my tub. I appreciated how the parts were labeled to show the direction of water flow so I could set it up properly and without difficulty. All the tubing fit snugly and didn’t leak. Depending on temperature and humidity, be aware that there will be condensation though. I just keep an old towel out to collect drips. I didn’t precisely try to measure the cooling rate but it seemed to take about 10 hours to get the temperature of a 105 gallon tub down to 40degF from the temperature from the faucet. After about 4 hours, I was able to try my first cold plunge at 50degF. Depending on the desired final temperature, it can be ready pretty quick. I love having the amount of control over temperature that this chiller provides. Cold plunging is recommended anywhere from 60degF to 40degF, depending on need and expertise. With this, I set the desired temperature on the panel and just let it do the work. It is effortless compared to hauling ice bags so I highly recommend if you plunge regularly like I do. It operates quietly and the flow rate is comfortable for me. Easy operation with simple step up and down setting. It can also run in both Fahrenheit and Celsius.

I use this chiller to help regulate the temperature of my saltwater fish aquarium. I lost $1,000 worth of fishes/sea creatures about 12 years ago after coming back from camping in the summer -- water temperature was over 100F because my apartment did not have air conditioning and it was baking inside! It happened again the following year, losing another $1,000. That's when I gave up and switched to freshwater (cheaper). I eventually gave away the tank. If all goes well for a few years, I may look into adding pricier fishes to the tank again.So far, this chiller has maintained a stable temperature. I also have a heater set up to ensure the water would not get too cold.

You can chill up to a maximum volume of 132 gallons, which is perfect for larger groups or solo use. The easy controls make it simple to adjust the temperature to your preference. This chiller has become an essential part of my workout recovery routine!

Previously I have just been using ice in my ice baths. While this helps make the water cold the ice does nothing in comparison to this chiller. With ice alone I could never get to 41° degrees nor could I get there as quick as I do with the chiller. I like that I can enjoy the benefits of cold water therapy whenever I want instead of having to wait for the ice to cool the water. The system is incredibly easy to set up and use. It operates quietly. It has provided a consistent and effective performance every time.
