For some years I have used adhesive shades on my Sony 6000 series mirrorless kit, but with a very narrow adhesive margin they are liable to come unstuck - and will not then reliably re-stick - and until I stumbled on Larmor I could find no equivalent for the larger screens on my RX series compacts. The clever bit - which is nowhere properly explained in the product literature - is that the shade attaches to the screen protector - hence to the screen itself - magnetically! The protector has a metallised border, the shade contains some tiny but remarkably powerful magnets and voila!
