Brother ScanNCut SDX125e is a great Craft Room Machine.
Brother ScanNCut SDX125e cutting machine has brought me many hours of crafting fun. I have made lots of paper crafts for my young relatives. I plan on using it for cutting out fabric applique for quilting or machine embroidery projects. My first project was making a vinyl design on a license plate for my husband's truck. Mostly, I have made cards, lanterns, and boxes that needed to be assembled. A great product with so many uses. The scanner feature is awesome.

If you have a brother scan and cut. Your fabric is going to slide unless you use the gold mat

Great for cutting fabric for Embroidery Designs
I like the mat and it's great for cutting fabric material for my embroidery appliqué designs. The only thing is that the sticky part of the mat does not last long. For this price, you should have it last longer. This is my second one in a few months of use. I did contact Brother and they recommended cleaning it with baby wipes only and let it dry completely before using again. If that helps I will update my post.

Happy with my purchase
I read some reviews where the ScannCut would not recognize the mat. I had no problem with that. I hope they remember to remove the clear sheet over the mat which would cause the scanncut not recognize the mat. It is a Brother mat not a knock off. I have used it several time cutting fabric squares for a quilt.
