Great replacement. Great instructions for updated wiring. Satisfied.

Perfect. Wiring was a bit different but pretty simple to figure out. We are back to cooking. I dropped a small screw and my flashlight down in the stove. I learned how to take the whole stove apart by the time time I was done. Good learning experience. My only suggestions, use a magnetized screw driver and a head lamp.

Pros- Price is very good. Unit fit is good. Cons- New item wiring connection is different than original and new wiring instruction provided could explain better how the enclosed jumper wire should be connected. One new item wire terminal is smaller than original causing loose terminal connection. This would require at least 1 new properly sized heat rated connector and heat rated wiring extension. There is no vendor direct contact information provided with the new part. You would need to go through Amazon Customer Service to make contact with this vendor.

This replacement element was packaged very well, worked as expected, and is priced right. However, the instructions are challenging and on a small piece of paper. It comes with a red jumper, but it does not say if it is needed or how to install it. The best solution is to take pictures of the wiring of the old element and the tiny lettering. Follow the cross-reference chart in the Amazon item description. You may need to swap the original 2B wire with the S wire on the new element to ensure it turns on entirely and to prevent the 'Hot Surface Light' from staying on all the time. Note: Every stove is different, and the same with wiring. The above solution worked for me.
