I do multiple Amazon purchases every year without writing reviews. I feel compelled to take time to share my experience using this product. I had skin cancer surgery (MOHS procedure) on the right side of my face. The surgery was 11/14/2024 and the incision is approximately 2”. It runs just below the inner corner of my right eye straight downward, along the side of my nose. Not the most desirable location. I did have a skilled cancer surgeon, but the incision was hard to look at the first week. Suitors were removed on day 7 and I was told to begin applying silicone scar gel 2x day. I purchased the brand the Surgeon’s PA recommended. It is a thick silicone scar gel and that’s not easily massaged in. Directions noted to wipe excess gel off the skin. After 2 weeks, I started researching best ingredients for new scars and prevention of keloids. That led to an online search for a replacement scar cream/gel. I found this cream, which contained one of the ingredients I was looking for, DIMETHICONE. This ingredient isn’t found in many silicone scar products and I did an extensive search (online, not on Amazon). I read user reviews - 4.9 stars and hoped this product was the real deal and made my purchase. Amazon delivered the next morning before 8am. I started applying 3x per day….every day. That was approximately 4-5 weeks ago. The texture of this cream is very smooth/silky, unlike the other product, which was a tacky silicone scar gel. This cream felt soothing, moisturizing and is easily massaged in and absorbed. No excess tacky product that requires tissuing off, like the other product. Two very different scar formulas and textures. The dispenser is excellent and I feel it helps eliminate product waste. Within one week, I could tell an improvement, but it actually seemed like a sizable improvement…so I questioned if that was possible in such a short time. I kinda questioned if the improvements were really to the degree they seemed. Maybe it was just what I thought -versus- reality of the change that was happening. Hope that makes sense. I started taking nightly pictures every 2-3 days at that point. That way I would have a record of progress and the timeline. Each week the improvement continued - I made sure to add pressure at 4 weeks post surgery when massaging in the cream, which is proven to be beneficial flattening scars. Today, I saw my surgeon and he was shocked when he saw my face. He literally looked perplexed and finally expressed his disbelief over the appearance of my incision. I’m pretty sure his ego is a 10, but even so….he seemed in awe of how my scar looked, just shy of 8 weeks. Honestly, it’s barely visible. Clearly not at all what anyone would have expected based on my incision 7 weeks ago. I have followed all the surgeons post-op rules and protocols, but I truly do not believe my outcome today would be this good, if I had continued using the original scar product I purchased. I wholeheartedly believe this product, with consistent, daily use, plus massaging, has made a substantial difference in my progress and outcome. It has definitely proven beneficial to my facial scar to the point it is truly realistic that my scar will possibly continue improving with an outcome of 90-95% undetectable within another 2-3 months. That’s is nearly unfathomable and far exceeds any expectations I could have hoped for. Simply amazing and a gift. Hence, the reason I felt compelled to write this review. Skin cancer is scary enough and compounded if surgery is required and the location is on your face. I’m beyond grateful for early cancer detection, an excellent cancer surgeon and a product that offers superior results in scar enhancement/removal, especially when it’s in a highly visible location. Thank you to the company/founder that created this formula.

Had a severe gash over my eye and brow including 9 stitches, a REAL MESS...this product was recommended to me from a friend and a very satisfied user, and he was correct, it worked great! I have been using it two times a day (morning and before bed) and I saw results within 3-4 weeks, noticable by all my family and friends who could not believe it...I've been using it faithfully for about three months now and the scar has pretty much disappeared, there is some residual redness and bumps (hardened tissue) left, so I will keep applying it to see if it will continue to wipe out this horrible reminder

[Update] The seller contacted me after reading my review--which I didn't think was particularly negative--and offered to refund my purchase or to provide me with an apparently more advanced version of the cream, as well as some silicone strips. I was impressed with that level of customer service, so I have increased my rating to a "4." The seller actually asked that I increase it to a "5", but I'm not willing to do that until I have actually given the new products a chance. As I said in my initial review, I have no way of knowing if my scars would have been worse had I not used the product--this is clearly not a scientific test. What I will do is add pictures of my scars and let you make your own assessment. The right knee was done about 14 months ago and the left knee was 11 months ago. Clearly the right knee is better than the left, but whether that's because of the extra 3 months of healing or because I kind of lost faith in the product and didn't use it as faithfully with the left knee--I simply don't know. You can draw our own conclusions. [Original review] 14 months later, the scar from my knee replacement surgery is still quite evident. Would it have been worse had I not used the cream--who knows. Given the price it may be worth trying, but keep your expectations low.

This scar cream is amazing, I had a huge reddish scar right in the middle of my forehead from picking a scab, it's completely gone now after 3 months of using it. I had purchased a ton of sweatbands to wear when I went out or hats just so people wouldn't see it. I will NEVER pick another scab on my face or forehead ever again though, lesson learned. I just wish I had found this cream sooner

I’ve been using this cream for my stretch marks, and I’m really happy with the results so far. It keeps my skin feeling soft and refreshed, and I’ve noticed a visible improvement in a relatively short time. Everyone’s skin is different, but it has worked well for me. I would definitely recommend giving it a try.

This Gel in particular causes itching after a few days of usage. Not great!

This scar cream smells lovely and feels silky smooth on the scar area. I have a large area of abdominal scarring that I apply this cream on, and it is helping the area seem less obvious.

This product is fantastic the scarring has gotten so much better. My support worker noticed a huge difference after I put it on. The redness and scarring has gone down completely

Amazing product, works exactly as described to lessen the look of scars. Test a small area before using, I am a very sensitive person and I had zero issues. No rash , no hives, absolutely no irritation to my skin. I am very glad I tried it.

Does the job

This has really helped with healing of scar tissue following major surgery. Reduced redness and visibility of the scars. Even helped with an old scar.

I love the product! Only received it yesterday but already notice a difference- great consistency -Wondering if your able to put moisturizer or sunscreen/make up over the top of it when it dries??
