Q: This is gonna sound super dumb, but... Is it microwave safe?

Yes. It is 100% cotton so it would be microwave-safe for making hand warmers, potato pouches, etc. Be sure that ALL batting and threads are also 100% cotton when sewing with this or they will melt and/or catch fire in the microwave. I also place a mug of cold water in the microwave when heating hand warmers to heat them more evenly and to help prevent burning. You can safely microwave fabrics that are 100% natural fibres only (such as cotton, linen and wool) as long as they are not made with metallic threads or accents. NEVER use fabric, threads or batting that contain polyester or other man-made fibres. I hope that helps! Happy sewing :)
