I was a little dubious about putting my expensive phone into a plastic holder and driving at speed and/or over bumpy roads, but I have to say that it has worked perfectly in all conditions. No shaking at all, and no concern about it coming lose, no matter how uneven the surface of the road. My only niggling concern is whether the metal bracket could cause an injury if I were to have an accident.
