I would say yes. We purchased this as a replacement pad for our cats carrier. We use this carrier when we fly with her. On a couple of occasions she did get physically sick and once had a bladder leakage problem. The top layer got a little wet but it doesn’t go through the material that backs it. We’re able to take it apart and wash. It washes very well. Air dries and looks like new. We are very happy with this purchase.

Will this fit my Mr. Peanut backpack travel carrier?

I can’t answer that, as we have a different carrier. We used this as a replacement pad in our existing carrier. Just check the measurements of the pad to the inside of your carrier. It was very close in size to ours so I purchased it. Fits perfectly. Very happy with it.
