Blue's Clues - Blue's Big News - The Baby's Here! [VHS]

I have a special girl who is now 33. She sits and watches these and signs and laughs whit them. Great stuff for the little guys. She is about 3 to 4 mentally.She has even learned some things from them. Grand kids love them also.

I was very dissapointed in the seller. It was advertised as new and was very used. This was a gift for my Granddaughter and now I have to try and find a NEW one.

Childhood memories 2003

My 2-1/2 year old son absolutely loves this video. The one thing that I really like about this video is how it focuses on Paprika as a "big sister" and what a good helper she can be for her parents around the house and with the baby. The other characters in the video give a congratulatory gift to the new big sister before giving the baby his gift, which is something I'll keep in mind when our new baby comes home in a few months. This is an upbeat video about becoming a big brother/sister, without getting into graphic detail (a visit to the baby hospital merely entails using clues to find out which baby is Paprika's new brother). It emphasizes the things toddlers find fun about babies. Steve, the host, also learns that babies sometimes cry when they need something and are small- and the toddlers learn that they started out as babies and were small once too. Overall I highly recommend this video- and in a few months I'll be able to tell you how much sank in!

I bought this with 4 weeks to go before my due date w/my second child. My daughter, who is 2 1/2, instantly fell in love with it. And she never really watched Blues Clues before. It's wonderful! Even my husband and I enjoy watching it - Steve is really captivating. It does a great job of talking about things that are going to happen before the baby actually arrives (i.e. going to the "baby hospital", and that it can take a while). I know that if I need to tell my daughter that I need to go to the hospital to have the baby, she won't be confused or upset. She walks around the house saying "this baby thing just takes time". What a great video! As soon as it's over, she wants to watch it again.

Blue's Clues has been a big hit with my toddler since he was a year old. The standard format of this show is repetitious - find 3 clues, skiddoo along the way, get the mail, solve problems - so your child will soon have it memorized and can play along. My toddler knows when a paw print is coming, points out the clue to Steve, knows when the mailbox is on its way, and dances throughout the shows with the music. This particular edition is great for the toddler growing up - it makes a big deal about firsts - moving from crib to bed, counting to 20, telling a joke, etc... The other story has little Paprika moving from a crib to a bed while she prepares to become a big sister. Blue's Clues is terrific - we'll all miss Steve this spring!

３歳になる子供のために買いました。　グアムに行ったときにブルーだとはしらずに、子供の帽子などを買っていました。 なので、私のほうが楽しみにしていたのです。　キャラクターはもちろん、家やインテリア、色合いもとてもいいです。　ゲーム感覚で、玄関から入って何かあると隣の部屋に行ったり、キッチンにいったり、外から声が聞こえれば出て行ってみたり。　その場で、いろんなことがあり。　それを実写のお兄さんと進んでいくのです。　ソルト＆ペッパーの二人にまで家族がいて、小さな部屋に住んでいたり、また赤ちゃんができる！とママのおなかがおおきくなってたり。　かなり、私のおきにいりです。　今では息子も５歳ですが、ようやくわかってきているようです。　弟たち、２歳、１歳も楽しそうに見ています。
