Thick enough not to crack and glides across carpet making it easy for me to move furniture on my own. My only critism would be to make the cups deeper or do a range of deeper cups. I use them for a Futon style pull down bed. Because the front Futon foot rests have less weight than the rear foot rests they pop out of the cups every time I move the Futon. Also would just like to advise you measure carefully before ordering as I had to order twice.
