I had a simple indoor antenna but didn't get enough signal for the digital broadcasts. But with this one it worked indoors too. However, I put it on the outside as it's not that pretty to have it inside. I do not needed all the amplification, so I didn't mount the front part, maybe the antenna gives 3-4 dB instead of 10dB.
