Nice pellets, not shaken up into dust. Fish love them. They sink pretty quick There are great for small cory cats and loaches. For larger plecos and loaches, too small. These are about 1mm to 2mm in diameter. Good price, good product, so these will be used along with larger pellets in my 100gallon.

Buy this food! Your fish will thank you. Aquarium hobbiest for decades. Not going to say just how many decades because that's just depressing! I am always on the lookout for high quality foods for my fishes. I have had ponds over the years and realized how many insects my fish would eat and often wondered why fish foods didn't contain insects. High in fiber, easily digested. I stumbled on Fluval Bug Bites the other day and the first two ingredients were Insect larvae and salmon. I knew I had to try it. Ordered on a Friday, received it on Sunday. Love Prime shipping! I opened the package and couldn't get the plastic off fast enough to test out this new food. I quickly opened the twist off lid and the freshness seal came off into my hand. I hate when that happens. How much does that seal really preserve freshness if it doesn't stay on? I bought the med-large size granuals. I put the food in and it sinks immediately, my bottom feeders went nuts! No really, I mean nuts over this food. I have a school of 6 clown loaches and they ate enough that the bellies were bulging (I'd say, they ate too much) but they wanted more. Historically, my clown loaches were very picky and I could only get them to eat two brands of food inconsistently. My bristlenose pleco (who never comes put with the lights on) had to come out and get his share. My angelfish don't like eating off the bottom but even the three of them couldn't resist and began eating Fluval Bug Bites off the bottom. I am so pleased that something lived up to the hype.

Size: The large is for LARGE mouth fish. It comes in ALL sizes- ck your labels. Great stuff. Everybody likes it so get it for the small guys too.

My Cichlid fish, my Siamese fighting fish and my snails, and my weather loaches all of this treat. I wish it came in a bigger container.

Pleco loves the product but I was hoping the product was a bit large. It's the size of sand.

What can I say.......a few of my Betta's are very finicky and will NOT eat pellet foods, but they scarf these down. I have both sizes of the Tropical formula, small and the med-large. The small size has dust like particles and small grains. I do have 2 very petite betta's so I need the smaller size too, but was surprised by how much dust like particles were in that container. Not too hard to break a big piece apart with my fingernail though, so when I run out of the small size, I am only buying this med-large sized granules. Only the largest granules in this size did I have to break apart for my big boys, most of the granules were able to be eaten whole. My larger betta's are a size between regular and king though. Your betta's may have a harder time with this size without breaking it apart first.

My fish loves this food and it seems like it's good quality. Ingredients are natural and extremely affordable.

My fish go crazy for this food. I will continue to keep it in the rotation. I like to mix their food selections up. So I assume the taste is good the frenzy that it causes.

This is a really good size for you to try out the Medium to Larger Granules.

As usual... very high quality food from fluval... doesn't disappoint one bit. fish attack the food as soon as it is introduced in the tank.
