Played with the clubs for a year, went for a lesson and the pro asked to check the clubs, 3 irons had shafts that were twisted out of line which when shown could see for myself, I am a senior player so don’t hit that hard so very disappointed.

I’ve owned this set for a few months now and use it roughly once a week while taking golf lessons and trying to get more serious about the game. I’m definitely not an experienced golfer, so I can’t give a highly technical assessment of every club, but I can speak to how well this set has worked for someone moving from occasionally borrowing friends’ clubs to owning a complete set of my own. When I was shopping, I narrowed my decision down to this set and the Callaway Edge set from Costco. I ultimately chose the Hogans because I wanted something I could buy once and immediately take to the course without having to piece together the rest of the setup. The included bag, headcovers, and complete selection of clubs made this a better value for me, and I didn't have to spend a few hundred more dollars buying the bag and extras if I had bought the Costco set. So far, I’ve been very impressed. The clubs feel well made, and they have been forgiving enough for me to learn with while taking lessons. I’ve also had several friends who golf regularly use them, and they’ve all like the clubs. I think the best club in this set is the putter. It has a modern mallet-style design that makes alignment very intuitive, and it feels considerably more premium than I expected from a package set. It is probably the club in the bag I am least interested in replacing. If I were going to upgrade anything first, it would be the driver. There is nothing inherently wrong with it and it absolutely gets the job done, but after hitting some of my friends’ drivers, I prefer the feel and contact I get from some of those. I would consider the driver adequate rather than a highlight of the set. For someone who already has a developed game and knows exactly what shafts, lofts, and club characteristics they want, buying clubs individually probably makes more sense. But I don’t think that is who this set is really for. If you are a newer golfer who wants to start playing more seriously, take lessons, and have a complete set of your own without spending a fortune or researching every individual club and accessory, I think this is an excellent option. A few months in, I’m still very happy I chose it and would absolutely recommend it to someone in the same position I was in.

My husband absolutely loves the quality and performance of these clubs. Great for beginners or experienced golfers. We did have a slight issue with the zippers on his bag but Customer service was amazing and found a solution right away. I would 100% recommend these not only for the style, quality and performance but also for the customer support behind them.

Let me start of by saying how impressed I am by the quality of the clubs! I have played some old Hogan blades I bought at a flea market years ago and have owned a few sets since then but have not found anything that comes close to the forgiveness while maintaining the quality and feel those blades offered.....until now! Everything in this set is top quality, so far I cannot nitpick or find anything to fault in this set. The bag is nice and looks and feels very well built although the padding in the shoulder straps is less than desirable and id say the cheapest aspect of the bag. As for the Clubs... I'm 5'4 so the stock lengths were a bit awkward length wise I felt too big for my (wrist to floor measurements) so I did knock off 1/4 - 1'' off the driver and the 3 wood. stock its 45" I took the Driver down to 44" and the 3 wood was 43" I knocked it down 42.50" the rest of the clubs are steel shafts and still feel a tad long by a half inch or so so I may make alterations to them down the road but for now I replaced all the stock grips with midsize Champkeys so if I need to I can simply choke down on the club to find a swing balance that works before altering them I didn't want to change swing weight etc too much so I'll be testing that out over the next few weeks. The putter (while not my personal favorite head shape) is actually well balanced and has some good weight to it. While the face of the putter feels a bit small I love the metal insert that gives you a ton of tactile feel and sound while striking the ball, I went ahead and ordered a head cover and a new grey grip to match the irons and woods. I also cut it down from the I believe 35" it came in, to a manageable 33.75" I have since got some awesome little magnetic iron covers to keep the iron heads from getting bag chatter as I want these to stay looking as good as possible. so far 10/10 Love these clubs! I will update this review if anything comes up or I have more to add.

As a beginner golfer this was a great upgrade from my original used set. So far I’ve golf twice with them and noticed an improvement in my Tee shots. Straighter and longer. The feel of the irons are great and my shots are more smoother. As for the hybrids still need to adjust to them. Overall I feel this set is a great buy and would recommend them.
