I’m an arnica enthusiast for all things that get sore and bruised. If you have something coming up that you know you’ll be bruised during, start taking these a few days in advance and continue for a few days after. The bruises won’t be as bad, will fade faster, and the pain will go away sooner. And the gel is only slightly sticky during application (a little goes a long way). Let the skin dry where the gel has been applied and everything will feel smooth again.

I bought this Boiron arnica gel after a friend told me how well it works on bruises. I was skeptical because how can a topically applied homeopathic gel help a bruise heal faster once the damage is done? The free SuperSaver shipping (on orders over $25) convinced me to give it a try. Yesterday I dropped a heavy cabinet drawer on my foot, leaving a small cut and a large blue, blood-filled bruise. It was quite painful and I even wondered if I had broken any of the little bones in the top of my foot. After the cursing died down, I put some pressure and an ice pack on it and then remembered the arnica gel I had purchased. I limped off to the bedroom to find the gel, and applied it to my injured foot. I also took the little pellets (included with the gel) as directed. I reapplied three times yesterday and once this morning, and I'm totally amazed by the results! Seriously, I hardly have any bruising at all, and the pain is gone! There is a small bit of swelling left, but I would have expected a week or more with a dark bruise and pain at the site. I'm an arnica convert and will always keep arnica gel in my medical supplies. I'm also ordering more today!
