Wisdom of the Oracle Pocket Divination Cards: A 52-card Oracle Deck for Love, Happiness, Spiritual Growth, and Living Your Purpose

I recently purchased the Wisdom of the Oracle Pocket Edition by Colette Baron-Reid, and I'm genuinely impressed with it. First, the color palette is beautiful and attractive, and the deck feels lovely to hold. The cards have a glossy finish, but they're not overly slippery. Shuffling is comfortable, although I wouldn't say they're ideal for very fast shuffling right out of the box. I imagine they'll become even easier to handle once the glossy surface softens a bit with regular use. For comparison, I own the Spirit Animal Oracle Pocket Edition, which comes in a sturdy tin box and has exceptional card quality. This deck comes in a cardboard box instead, but it's still quite sturdy and practical. Although it's called a pocket edition, the cards are not tiny—you can see from the photos that they're a comfortable size and easy to work with. The guidebook is surprisingly thick for a pocket edition. I've read a few pages already, and it's thoughtfully written, insightful, and easy to understand. What truly stands out for me is the accuracy of the readings. After doing my usual cleansing ritual and prayer, I asked a question and was genuinely stunned by how accurately the card reflected my situation. Thinking it might have been beginner's luck, I asked another question—and once again, the message was incredibly relevant and precise. If you're naturally intuitive and enjoy working with tarot or oracle cards, I highly recommend this deck. The messages feel meaningful, the artwork is beautiful, and the pocket size makes it easy to store without taking up much space. AMAZING DECK!! This has quickly become one of my favourite oracle decks EVER! I originally bought this deck because I fell in love with the surrealist style of artwork and the beautiful pastel colours. I went with the pocket version because I was buying another oracle decks at the same time and wanted to save some money but I actually really enjoy the size of the pocket cards, They fit perfectly in my hands and are incredibly easy to shuffle. The cards are smooth and shiny and have not frayed at all. The best part of this deck though, is the guidebook! It is so detailed and gives 4 different messages for each card which I LOVE! Each card has a general message, relationship message, prosperity message and a reversed message. I love this take on the cards and I find the messages themselves are all incredible. Every day, I am so happy that I bought this deck because it works so well. My ONE NEGATIVE is that the guidebook completely fell apart a couple months into using it, every single page fell out of the binding so I rebound it with a string but the deck is so dear to me that I really didn’t mind.

Very beautiful artwork. Guidebook is good, the print is not too small for my eyes. I like that it has keywords, a general meaning, and one for romance as well as prosperity, and reverse meaning. The cardstock is a medium thickness and shuffles beautifully with such a nice slide. I trimmed the borders and rounded the corners with a 10mm round corner punch, and it makes the beautiful images stand out much more. The meanings for the cards can cover such a variety of life experiences, but definitely leans on the spiritual without being cheesy. It's basically the sweet spot you want in an oracle.
