Vegetable Chopper Mandoline Slicer, Food Veggie Chopper

Picked this up during a Prime sale and used it last weekend to make my first batch of homemade pico de gallo. As someone who doesn't really enjoy cooking and isn't very experienced in the kitchen, I was pleasantly surprised by how easy it was to use. The biggest tip I discovered is to cut ingredients into smaller pieces, about quarters, before using the chopper. It also works best with firmer vegetables. Softer tomatoes tend to get caught in the cutting grid, so I'd recommend using firm Roma tomatoes. For my pico, I used five large Roma tomatoes, one jalapeño, and half an onion. I chopped the cilantro by hand and squeezed the limes myself. It made enough fresh, great-tasting pico to last me about three days. Fantastic with chips, as well as in burritos! Cleanup was relatively easy, but also takes some time when doing by hand (I don't run a dishwasher) I used the included brush to remove a few tomato pieces from the cutting grid, then soaked everything in hot soapy water before hand washing. Had read reviews mentioning problems with the latch and concerns about the sharp blades, but I experienced neither for most part. The latch worked perfectly, and as long as you use a little care while cleaning, especially when removing the cutting grid, it's not a problem...but going a little slower with cleaning this unit helps! Very happy overall with the Mueller, as it saved me prep time and made the process easier. The only minor thing I have to say is that I wish the container was a little larger, but it's manageable. So If you're someone like me who traditionally doesn't enjoy cooking or is just learning and trying to eat better at home, I think this is a great kitchen tool.

I really LOVE this chopper/slicer. It makes quick work of chopping veggies, especially onions! Very sharp cutting surfaces. The mandoline attachment is super handy, everything stores well in the base. Seems pretty durable, especially chopping hard veggies. I love the little cleaner devices they include. Every kitchen needs this!

I Love, Love, Love this Vegetable Chopper. I chopped up Tomatoes, Onions and Peppers in no time at all and it usually takes me forever. It’s also wonderful having everything chopped the same size. The clean up was easy as could be. Obviously, I would recommend this product.

I have the compact multi chopper slicer with 6 blades. It is very well made and easy to use. It all comes apart and when you’re done it’s a breeze to clean up and you can store everything back into the container. I’ve had wrist surgery and it’s easy to press down and chop your veggies. Very happy with my purchase it’s well made and the price is very reasonable. Buy it it chops great and saves time and no aching hands!

Extremely helpful. We go through many bell peppers a week in salads, chili, and on pizza. This handy tool has made bell pepper prep a breeze. I use the small squares for bell peppers. Also found the larger squares great for preparing cheese. I typically eat 2 oz of cheese a couple times a day and cubing a bunch of cheese makes it easy to measure out 2 ounces of a variety of cheeses for high protein, calcium rich snacks. The cleaning tools that are included make it easy to keep the unit clean. After using the unit, I immediately put it in the sink with some soapy water to soak briefly. Then I run the 'combs' or brush over the unit and that has removed all food residue. Note: If I were selling this unit, I'd add a couple of extra bases (the clear container) and lids so that users could store their prepared food right in the containers.

This is a kitchen must-have! I purchased one off of Amazon a few years ago, have put it to great use, and have since ordered three more for my kids and neighbor friend. Particularly if you make recipes with chopped vegetables, whether main dishes, salads, bruschetta, cowboy caviar, pico de gallo, etc. this is a game changing gadget as it really reduces your prep time, the blades on the chopper are very sharp and can be easily adjusted from one insert to another. The chopper also comes with handy cleaning tools. Well worth every penny spent and is my current favorite kitchen gadget!

Needed something that worked on tough skinned peppers, this does the trick. Only used the square blade set so far but it makes it easy to cut up a bunch of peppers for cooking/canning/ect.

This chopper works well. I have one already and have bought this one for my granddaughter. It is part of her shower gift.

PERFEITO para cortar. CUIDADO ao limpar. No primeiro uso, as cascas do tomate emperraram no equipamento e fiz o movimento errado para limpar. A mão escapou e me cortei até o osso. Então, tenho certeza de que a lâmina é muuuito boa, mas lembre-se SEMPRE se retirar a lâmina para limpar, mesmo que esteja no meio do processo

Excelente compra!! Muy buena calidad 🤩 ahorras mucho tiempo picando, pero si debemos de tener cuidado por que es muy filoso.

The chopper itself is solid—made from quality plastic and feels sturdy in hand. But the slicer attachment? Completely useless, and borderline unsafe. The blade alignment is off, making it nearly impossible to slice anything properly. I lost around 30% of my vegetables because they couldn’t reach the blades. For the price, I expected far better engineering. I ended up buying a separate tool just to do the job this one failed at- and now this chopper sits unused. Not recommended. It’s simply not worth the money.
