Healing Oil
I would not want to be without this product. I often use it on my face with or without a carrier oil for healing and fine lines, or on my recently broken wrist for pain with a carrier oil. At first, I did not like the smell, but, now, I do not mind it at all. I put the oil behind my ears/neck pulse points to aid sleep, but, I am not sure this has been the sole reason I am sleeping a little better. To me, there is a reason it is a gift in the Bible, so, I will continue to explore the benefits.

Amazing for pain??
I have ordered this product more than 5 times, and I can tell you that it is in fact 100% pure Frankincense oil. I first started using a product that cost literally ten times per ounce more than the now food brand oil, and when I first found this product I was skeptical that it was the same.. I did a side by side comparison, texture, taste, smell, thickness... in every way it appears to be identical to the other brand but way less expensive. The reason why I started buying so much of this stuff is because my Dad is battling cancer and a health food store clerk mentioned that Frankincense oil is a good cancer fighter. I started giving my Dad 30 drops daily(not all at once, spread out through the day) of pure Frankincense oil along with 1000mg of Laetrile, and although I don't know if these substances actually destroy cancer, there is no question that within two weeks he was feeling far better because his pain had nearly vanished! At one point he was loaded on morphine and oxycodone to the point of being in a "zombie" state, and now he has been completely off of all pain meds for over 3 months! His type of cancer(tongue/throat) is extremely painful and he has gone many months now with no pain at all! Almost every Doctor he has seen(which has been many), expresses amazement that he has no pain considering the advanced stage of cancer that he had(which may not be so advanced at this point.. :)I felt compelled to write this review in hopes of helping someone else out there who may be in despair due to life debilitating pain. My Dad was at death's door and in severe pain back in July, and the pain has long since fled and he is getting better week by week. He has also been undergoing chemo and radiation therapy for several months but the pain had completely subsided before this process started). The two biggest factors I credit for the pain vanishing are Laetrile and Frankincense oil, as it was obvious that within weeks after administering this to my Dad he started to "come back to life". Note: I started both at the same time so I cannot tell you which one or if perhaps it's the combination of both that has had this powerful effect.

Buy it!
NOW Foods products are known for the quality and this frankincense oil is definitely excellent. The bottle was well packaged and sealed - thank you Amazon. I use it in a homemade nightly face oil moisturizing mix. Love it and definitely recommend. Only ding is the price - but frankincense is generally expensive and a widely used oil that has many medicinal, healing, rejuvenating properties.

Smells great.
I'm new to using Frankincense essential oil so I don't have anything to compare it to, but NOW is a quality brand and I do love the scent of this. I mix this with Castor Oil in an amber roller bottle and apply it to my face every night, loving the results!

Another good quality essential oil at a great price from NOW.
I have been experimenting with essential oils for about ten years now, and have tried a wide range of brands. I've tended to stick with the mid-range brands like Aura Cacia, but I've tried some of the cheaper off brands offered on Amazon, as well as some high end brands like Do Terra and Young Living. Recently, I've fallen in love with NOW essential oils and have been buying them almost exclusively for the past year or so. The quality is great and the price is amazing for what you get. They are definitely on par with Aura Cacia for about half the price per ounce, on average. I have never gotten a NOW essential oil where I questioned if it might be a synthetic fragrance oil. I have allergies and synthetic fragrances instantly cause my nose to stuff up and often give me headaches and nausea- I have gotten a few fake essential oils through cheap retailers and some shady sellers on Amazon and I could tell right away. This frankincense oil is definitely the real deal, but as there are several different varieties of frankincense, this might not smell exactly like other brands, and might even smell a little off. I honestly don't care for any brand of frankincense on its own. I will inhale it when I have a cold or sinus infection, but otherwise I only ever use it blended with other oils. In blends, the strong, medicinal scent of this oil mellows out and just adds a little depth to lighter or more floral essential oils.I use frankincense when I'm feeling sick by inhaling the aroma from the bottle, adding it to hot baths, and adding it to a blend of other oils in a diffuser. For diffusing, I think the smell of frankincense goes with almost everything, but my go-to blend is to mix it with lavender, pine, bergamot, and citrus. Vetiver is also nice to add to this mix for a deeper, more woodsy fragrance. As frankincense is known to be antiseptic, it also goes into my homemade all purpose cleaner. The recipe I use is a couple tablespoons of Dr. Bronner's Sal's Suds, and a generous blend of tea tree oil, frankincense, pine, lemon, and lavender. All of that is added to a spray bottle filled with water and is then good to go for an all natural, better smelling alternative to Pine Sol. I change the amounts and add other oils like eucalyptus from time to time, but those are the main essential oils I use.
