WORKS AMAZONG! NO JOKE
I ordered these for our trip to Mexico in July and I was so glad I had them with me as I ended up getting burned and blistered on my shoulders! I never have had that happen. While I didn't anticipate using this product on my shoulders, I will say that it was a lifesaver because they helped protect my shoulders for my remaining days in MX. I was shocked at how transparent they were so much so that I could not even find them when I looked for them over my shoulder and my husband had a hard time seeing them from his vantage point. These were also surprisingly easy to put on especially considering I didn't entirely trust my husband to do it so I actually reached across and put them on myself. I noticed some reviewers mentioned being able to see them and perhaps that has something to do with their skin tone I'm not sure but given how these disappeared on my fair to medium freckled skin I would think they would do the same on my cheeks. I still have a few left over and will hold on to them for next summer as we're getting nothing but rain now here in North Carolina and it is mid-august. But I do plan on keeping these handy for next summer and can recommend them based on my experience. To explain something else that may be important, you put the clear piece on and then you use the gel to put over top. I'm not entirely sure what the gel does -maybe it helps it stick down I don't know. I know there's SPF involved maybe it's in there, I can't remember that should be in the product details though, but all in all I definitely recommend and was happy to have these. Wish I'd taken a photo, but had I you probably couldn't see anyway lol, as they truly did disappear. Oh- also, they stayed on a shockingly long time! I believe when I got burned it was around July 19th or 20th and we returned back to America on the 22nd and they were still on and a few days after that I had forgotten about them and realized only then when an edge started to come up and I could feel it. So the longevity of how long these lasted amazed me. I'm not even sure to be honest if I even cleaned my shoulders prior to placing these on as we were sitting poolside in our swim up pool at our Resort Room and noticed the blisters so I'm not even sure we even wipe down my shoulders to free them of the sunblock I would have had on. So yeah these are cool.

Don’t waste your money
Highlights wrinkles and fine lines and it’s difficult to remove. Can’t be worn in public. It looks terrible. I had to scape it off to remove it. Why can’t any of the sun patches be made in different skin tones? They’re all so light and look like bandages.

Innovative Product - Perfect for Sports, Hiking, and Boating Days
I was honestly a bit skeptical about sunscreen patches when I first saw them, but curiosity got the better of me and I decided to give them a try. As someone who wears sunscreen daily year-round and keeps a bottle in my purse all summer, sun protection is something I take seriously. I tested these on both myself and my son during his school track-and-field day, applying regular sunscreen to the rest of our faces where the patches weren’t covering. I was pleasantly surprised by how well they blended into the skin. They’re not completely invisible, but they are much less noticeable than I expected, especially after applying the included serum, which helps soften the edges and improve the overall appearance. The first patch took a hot minute to apply properly (you can see in one picture where it looks obvious something is on my cheek), but after that the process was straightforward and easy, with the second patch being mostly done invisible after application. At the end of a full day in direct sun, neither of us had any signs of sunburn or excessive tanning in the protected areas, which was impressive. The biggest drawback for me is the cost. I think these are fantastic for activities where sunscreen tends to wear off or be difficult to reapply, such as boating, biking, hiking, kayaking, beach days, or outdoor sporting events. If the price comes down over time—or if more patches are included per package—I could absolutely see myself purchasing them regularly. Overall, I think this is a clever and innovative product, and I’m excited to see this type of sun protection become more widely available and hopefully more affordable!!

Good sun protection patches
I have been wanting to try UV patches for a while. I am outdoors quite often and I have melasma. I was hoping to decrease the sun exposure on my face. I apply sunscreen several times a day, wear large sunglasses and always wear a hat. Despite that, the sun always manages to get through. I have only used one of these so far and did find it a bit difficult to read the instructions and apply. After wasting one pair, I was successful with the second pair. I do find the patches to cover a larger area of the face than the photos show, which is good. I do like that they also offer hydration and anti-aging ingredients while wearing them. The patches are made for specific activities and not for every day use. They do look a little silly but when you’re out for a bike ride by yourself who cares.

Was near Invisible on my skin. Worked well. I peeled off after 10 hours.
I wasn't sure about these and held off trying them for a little while. There are only 4 pairs in the box as well, so I felt like I needed to ration using them. I wasn't sure exactly how to apply them at first. You peel off one half of the backing and place on your face and then remove the second half. It has a plastic piece on the front that needs to be removed afterwards, which I didn't realize at first. I tried to readjust the placement and that peeled off and I realized how it was supposed to be, so it was easier to apply the second one. The serum is on the other side and you rub it in to the patch..there is plenty of the serum. It felt nice going on. Once I absorbed in, I actually couldn't really see the patch on my skin. It may very based on your skin tone, but I was truly surprised. My husband couldn't even tell until I showed him where it was. I wore it for 10 hours, most of which was outdoors. Near the end it started to look a bit like when your skin is peeling from a burn but only at the edges. Peeling them off was like pulling off those peel off face masks. No irritation on my skin and no burns! It does only cover your under eye area but that area is most sensitive for many. I actually really like these but do think the cost is high if you wanted to use them all the time. I would buy again personally.

Targeted UPF 50+ Sun Protection for Sensitive Skin and Sunscreen Sensitivity
Summer passes in a blink, and I’d like to be outside more, but protecting my face from the sun isn’t an easy feat sometimes. So these two things don’t always align. I’m fair-skinned, with light eyes, and I burn easily. I’ve already had areas of concern removed from my face due to sun exposure, so I’m careful because I only have one face and I want to protect it long-term. At the same time, I don’t like sunscreen on my face, especially around my eyes. It feels uncomfortable and irritating on my skin, especially during long outdoor days. Most of the time I rely on hats, sunglasses, and covering up. I also use UPF sticks on my nose and lips. Even so, I still need something more reliable for extended time outside. These FRANZ UPF 50+ sun protection patches are designed to block over 99% of UV rays. They are ultra-thin, transparent, breathable, water resistant, and made to stay in place during movement and sweat. They do not require reapplication. Each box includes 4 pairs (8 patches). They are designed for targeted areas like the cheeks and other high-exposure zones that are hard to fully cover with sunscreen. They also include ingredients such as niacinamide, collagen, and peptides, along with a stem cell culture medium formula for supporting skin hydration and repair. ✅ At around $30 per box, they are not an everyday full-face solution. They are more suited for long outdoor activities like hiking, cycling, running, being on a boat, water sports, or travel days like those one-day excursions you book while on vacation, where reapplying sunscreen is not practical. For me, the value is these provide consistent sun protection for the face without dealing with sunscreen irritation, especially around the eyes, while still being able to spend time outside comfortably.

Convenient sun protection
I spend a fair amount of time outdoors during the warmer months, so I was interested in trying these UV protection patches. They're lightweight and easy to bring along when hiking, walking, or spending time outside. I like that they don't add bulk and are easy to apply when I want a little extra protection in areas that are often exposed to the sun. The patches stayed in place well during use and felt comfortable on the skin. They're also small enough to fit into a purse, backpack, or travel bag. While sunscreen is still my main form of sun protection, I can see these being a useful extra layer for long outdoor days. Overall, they're convenient and easy to use.
