Thin but comfy, its kinda like the floor mats for in front of bath tubs. Super comfy and soft to lay on. At first I wasn’t sure about this rug. It did resemble a blanket, like a previous reviewer noted, but with a non slip backing and lots of fold lines. When my grandson saw it he said it was soft and comfy on his feet. He loved it. At first the fabric seemed to have a longer “pile” (I don’t know if that’s the word I’m looking for) but after being washed (gentle cycle with cold water) it seemed to be shorter and not as soft but on the brighter side, there were no lines or fold marks in it. I bought the dark green to make the room look a little more “Christmassy” and am pleased with the look and color. All in all I’m pleased with the rug.
