Better Than What You Have
This is a great mallet. Heavier and better made than the average "rubber mallet". The end caps are non-marring, but deal a strong blow. They unscrew, so they might be replaceable. You would have to check with Tekton on that. I have other Tekton products, and they are a good brand. I would not want to be without this tool in my shop.

A Good Soft Mallet
TEKTON tools are very very good tools. I can't imagine spending twice for the same quality. I have used many types of TEKTON tools over the years and have been very satisfied with their quality. I highly recommend TEKTON tools!

Great rubber head hammer
Good hammer for gunsmiths or shop workers with similiar delicate projects. I like the heads have different materials for working with different things. Heads are nice and tight and I have not had any issues with the hammer after quite a bit of use. Its a good tool to have, definitely recommend for sure

Solid hammer. I needed one for my tool box and Amazon had it at a great price.

Perfect
It works perfectly well! The reviews that are critical of its size did not look at the pics or read the description. For those whose mallet git destroyed using it to pound pavers or fence posts clearly do not understand what this tools purpose is. Just read about it and you can find a great review on YouTube at Last Best Tool. Do you research! I love it....works great!

This has been my goldsmithing rubber mallet since 2019. Still going strong.
I bought this in 2019 for making copper, sterling silver, and gold jewelry. It is still in use and going strong!!I use this to hammer my metal into shape against a mandrel. It moves the metal but does not mar it. Imagine straightening wire or making it curve without flattening it. No dents or scratches are made to the metal.The hammer is comfortable to use and obviously lasts. I'm buying a second for my friend to use as I teach her the craft.

Perfect medium-small mallet
I've had this mallet for a couple of years and I just ordered a second one from Tekton. It is a perfect medium-small mallet for light-duty persuasion. I can't believe how many people have attempted to use it for totally inappropriate purposes and then complained about it breaking. I had to laugh at the guy who thought he could use it to level pavers!

Feels like quality
I had inherited a mallet with damaged heads, and this was on black Friday sale and was Tekton, so I got it rather than replacing heads.So glad I got this, I can feel the difference I quality. I haven't had a chance to use it yet, I'll update if it isn't 100% great.
